Thanks for taking time to put these on. Something very interesting about plane crash investigation. Do we enjoy watching because we feel safe in our armchairs watching drama? Is it getting a kick out of feeling like "Well I'm still alive"....It's a lot like the romans watching some poor guy go in the ring with lions...I'm sure a shrink would say I'm on the right lines. @LiguidNitrogen as greg feith once said, "you can keep any aircraft flying as long as you have proper maintenance". no reason to retire aircraft after a certain time, proper Maintenance will keep craft up for years. look at the air forces B-52's, 50+ years and still going strong.

@jimmyp42002 yeah but those are for the air forces, commercial planes fly for thousands and thousands of hours.. I just wouldn`t risk it, there are thousands of planes out there.. they`res bound to be a few with bad maintenance... and those few probably carry hundreds of lives.

@TheCentrix I think its just simply because they didnt have a photograph of the real pilots that could be used. Look for yourself and compare the photos they did use to the actors, you will see that they are the same people.

Er, it's the same person. Makeup makes a difference, but look closely and you'll see. Besides, while they use actors to recreate these scenes, they always use pics of actual victims. Why would they show a picture of the actress playing Marks instead of an actual photo of her? That would be pretty disrespectful.

@yichen100 In aircraft as small as this, and given the duration of the flight, there's often no need for one. I flew in a small Dornier aircraft in Nepal - similar size - and it was just the two pilots.
