hey dude there is a lot of meat in the front legs if its a big one . We used to to eat the back too. You would be surprized how much more meat you get from the big ones if you just cut off the head and eat the whole thing front legs back and back legs. gr8 stuff giggers

Been giging since I was six and yes in Oklahoma the froggs can get 6 lbs but 3-4 lbs are common. I usually drive a 20 penny nail threw their heads to a tree split the skin around the waist and as we say it here pull their britiches down to their ankles. cut the feet off and cut'em at the waist and ur ready. How do you guys kill the frog after you get it off the gig? I haven't figured out a good way, yet. I always just stab them all through the head till they die. They're the hardest things to actually kill I've ever seen.
