Hi Lilou, yet again you have inspired me! I have Julia's book 'Walking in This World' which I have just found on my bookshelf - it's funny even though I am an artist I haven't actually read the book! So maybe now is the time, I do the 3 basic tools naturally anyway, which is interesting, however I don't do the writing daily, which i shall endeavor to do from now on!

my morning pages are more like task lists than writing.

The artists way had such a big impact me as a artist. I did it with a group of artists friends over 10 years ago. We started a support group that is still going strong. The morning pages ROCK! When I was reading in YOUR BOOK how you were getting I was SO excited. It is a treat to hear Julia talk about the magic of connecting with your spirit as we create. Great interview:) I love the Artist Way Books, but my favorite Julia Cameron Book is a small little book called "Heart Steps", prayers and declarations for a creative life". I carry this constantly with me when I'm running around to appointments... great inspiration and wisdom.
