My 04 Z has heavier clutch than my buddies Stang, and if your not use to short throws, its easy to miss second and third gear in my car. Mustangs don't have more rwhp than an HR Z. They both pull about 265 on the dyno. The low end torque of the mustang is what's responsible for the dig acceleration, but the Z's top end and aerodynamics are stronger, so they are actually dead even.

You do know that 350zs and new GTs weigh about the same right? Both around 3500lbs. Now factor in that 320 lb ft of torque compared to the Z's 265 or whatever. What do you get???
