  • If anyone on PSN and play mw3 message me psn:Xx_ImMuRkIn_xX

  • LAME!!!!!!

  • fuck this shit.

  • Aside from the serious stuff, I didn't realise Martin Brundle was such a good actor

  • My uncle had a stroke while at my house. Thanks to this advert I was able to save his life by recognising the signs and calling 999. On behalf on all my family... Thank You.

  • He's sexy

  • I had a stroke and i was only thirty! They thought I was pissed and left me lying there in hospital!

  • @WillC3PO you're talking about yourself, failed moron

  • So if i see a man with a burning hole in his head i have to call 999?

  • How the hell is that funny? WTF is wrong with you? You obviously are a loser. You think it's funny to see someone you love not themselves, not able to feed themselves, go to the bathroom on their own, not recognize their wife, or have memory loss and think they're 20 years old when they're really almost 60? I don't think you are funny I think you are plain stupid for making a joke about something so serious...what a scumbag!

  • It is put there for visual purposes, in that a stoke like a fire will spread untill action is taken.

It is to educate the stupid and the immature that you must take action if you see these signs, and to make awareness of it more national.

An advert like this will save the lives of many people in the UK/world, and it is executed in a way to make people pay attention to it.

A credit to the producers and the voice over.

  • strokes are the most scary things I have ever seen in my life , you can stop the bullet but not a stroke . that is so scary

  • The actors my friends dad and we keep takins the mik out of him about it lol

  • this man was a good acrtor, , i wonder if u have a tia or clot stroke . if its a good idea to band the persons head to try to dislodge it? im not being funny

  • I am a stroke victim and survivor.

FYI Cigarettes and alchohol are a commercial product not a governement sponsored one. The reason the government keeps raising taxes on these items is to discourage people from buying them! The taxes pay for the adverts, the purpose of the adverts is to warn people of the effects of stroke - disability and death. What's wrong with that? These adverts saved my life. Criticizing them is ridiculous.

  • the nhs commision advertisements about how cigarettes cause blood clots, heart disease, impotence and obv cancer but i still see them sold in every shop i've been to because they're still a commodity for the government to profit from i just think a lot of this shit seems to have double standards, you're being told what do and what not to do, i dunno i agree with helping out i just don't agree being made to feel guilty about not doing stuff that none of them do anyway

  • Why is it only now they do these adverts, is having stroke relatively new lol? This, the organ donation advert, and that fuckin ridiculous one about dimensia why weren't they doing 'in your face' commercials like this ten years ago?????? Because they're unneccessary and i don't mean people shouldn't know i just mean the way the subjects are put across are a tad extremist imo

  • just wait until one of YYOUR relatives (or yourslef) suffer a stroke....you won't be laughing then!!!

  • It isn't anything to joke about for sure. My dad just had a stroke about a month ago and he is home recovering right now and is really lucky. He was generally healthy before it happened, so you all do really need to know the symptoms.

  • @xobellalova4yaxo I had a stroke, myself...I'm lucky to be alive, let alone typing this. Thanks for your support....

  • F.A.S.T.

Face - Has their face fallen on one side?

Arms - Can they raise their arms above their head?

Speech - Is their speech slurred?

Time - Time to telephone Katie Price and tell her you have found Harvey.

  • @reno573 Faggot

  • fuck u.........ur youtube has zero mates, zero comments.....i bet that is what its like 4 u in real life. stop getting attention...fukin shemale

  • so why are you watching every stroke video?! if you dont like it fuck off! there are immature tossers that think its funny, im only trying to inform people that its harsh not funny. dont get all crybaby, you dont even know me. im sick of fcuking people leaving negative comments on what ive posted on a youtube video i an say what i want within reason so FUCK OFF

  • banganurded - thats what my grandad had, he always used to say he got severe headaches now and again. :/ and why are people bieng immature as fuck and putting thumb down for a perfectly true comment! alot of people do die, and someone's dad probably did die from a stroke. dont be so fucking insensitive what sort of person would share that on youtube and be lying about it. grow some balls you sicko's.

  • my grandad had a major stroke and died from blood flooding in the brain its horrid. lucily i wasnt in the room at the time , i lived with him and my nan. he was just like a dad, its painful watching these adverts when people laugh and take the piss, yeah ok its only acting but its still harsh. i wouldve normally laughed at something like this or a disabled person but when it happens to someone close by , or to yourself you realise how fucking cruel it is to laugh. :/

  • Okay we get it, stop posting this on every stroke video

  • Seriously some sad people who've come on here to mock this video :s? Yeah, strokes are a serious problem, it isn't the biggest killeri n the UK actually, CHD is responsible for 21% of deaths and strokes 8%. But, when you think about it, 8% of a population is an enormous figure! This video was designed around last Christmas, cos strokes are common with the 'festive periods' stress. RichLannoy is right, although getting a bit clingy to this really, every minute after this sort of trauma is vital

  • Sorry, just to alter statistics, strokes are the third biggest killer, as variouss other cardiovascular diseases which are all categorised as one cause more mortalities than the stroke alone, which is just one cerebrovascular disease on its own. Nonetheless, it claimed 110,000 in the UK last year, with figures expected to rise this year.

  • what the fuck are you talking about?? lots of people die from strokes everyday, if you said what are the chances of someone falling and dying from the eiffel tower i would agree with you, but stroke is the most common death in UK (after heart attack) so shut up you retard and i hope u die from one :D :D :D :D

  • If you read my post more carefully, you'll see I did not say lots of people didn't die of strokes every day. I have not disputed the death rate from stroke and, yes, it is the 3rd biggest killer in the uk. Please have the courtesy of reading posts more carefully and, as a stroke survivor myslef,

I find Bangandurded's insults offensive. An apology would be gratious.

  • if u have a stroke does the ambulance actually help? like is there a miracle drug they pump into u to reverse it or something?

  • An ambulance is a life-saver! When I was taken into the ambulance, the paramedics officially diagnosed the symptoms en-route to the hospital & got me to A&E very quickly. Cannot really comment on activity in the ambulance as I was unconscious! Upon arrival in A&E they administered a clot-busting drug to dissipate it. I awoke with some disability, but, speed of admission to A&E overaome it &`was basically back to normal within a couple of days, albeit highly fatigued for some months following.

  • So you had a blood clot. Someone i know had a hemorage (spelt wrong i think) which is where the artery bursts or the bloods leaks into the brain, can something be done about that?? Or is it so fast and really damaging that nothing can be done, do you know by any chance, does anyone??

  • A bleed is worse than a clot as it is much more difficult to overcome and has an even higher fatality rate.

  • lol what century are you living in?

  • when my grandad had a stroke it took the ambulance 40 minutes to get to his house. pathetic

  • You have a 3 hour window to survive disability or worse from stroke onset. An ambulance even arriving in 40minutes is a great start. I was very lucky regards an ambulance as I was at an outdoor event where the St.John's Ambulance were just a yard away from where I collapsed. They diagnosed suspected symptoms and called the paramedics immediately who arrived, I believe, within 15mintues. I was not conscious to know I was even in an ambulance.

  • Herein, I rest my case. PLEASE STOP MOCKING THIS FILM! Stroke's are not funny and neither is this film. This film can save lives, as it did mine. My condolances to Bangandurded's father. From personal experience, a stroke firstly severely impairs vision, thus dialing from an iPhone will be fatal as you will not be able to feel the keypad digits (hence the ideal old-style mobile) if there is noone to save you.Act F.A.S.T is very much the vital message.

  • This vid is epic but would be so much better if he was dribbling

my aunt had a stroke and i still cant help but laff and this shockingly made advert i still piss myself wien it comes on v and my bro does his impression xD

  • has anyone noticed that the phone is in the guys hand, what can he do wit it lol.

  • I am a stroke survivor and would like to point out to the fools mocking this film that there is absolutely NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT HAVING A STROKE. I am very grateful such very important information films exist for bringing awareness to what is a potentially fatal and certainly disabling condition.Such a public information film has helped save my life and those of others. I'm sure the fools who choose to mock would think differently if it happened to them.

  • I'm sorry i didn't mean to offend you, i know a stroke is not a laughing matter, i know people who have suffered and its one of the highest death rates in the UK and US.. anyway basically what i was laughing at was the really poor acting used to make this advert i mean they could of made a cartoon or something but yeah sorry its not the illness i'm laughing at just the bad acting

  • The acting is very realistic.

  • Everyone thinks its sick how i piss myself at this but hahahahaha it's his face! It just falls hahahaha I spat chocolate milk everywhere when i saw this on TV

  • yooooooooooooooooooooooou

    your face is on fiiiiiiiiiiiire!

  • it sounds horrible. but i think it looks funny when theyre mouth goes - :/

  • spat my supper out laughing first time i saw it on tv xD

  • @cryosabrexXx yeahhh umm not so funny if you got one eh? My father died from one today

  • lol did you get to watch it?

  • you should also call 999 if you're having a stroke whilst a forest fire rages in your brain.

  • ITS RON FROM THE BUSINESS, TOO MUCH COCAINE FOR HIM! ps strokes rule

  • I think it's time to call the Fire Brigade!!!

  • I've never seen this one! I guess the woman one seems more intense.

  • It looks like he is thinking "Hmm I should get to a hospital" ( =_=)

  • well done to the NHS.this will save lives.people may be distressed but im sure they see worse in the movies!

  • Thanks to this advert being on tv, it has saved my husbands life. We were able to spot the signs of a stroke and dialled 999. Thank you.

  • This advert is scarily well made.

My father had a stroke in front of my eyes in 1997. I've seen this advert happen for real. I can assure you it does look like this. It changed his life forever. It also changed my whole family's lives too.

Anyone saying this is scary - I promise you it disturbs people in my position more than it does someone who hasn't seen it happen- but I would never want these removed.

These adverts will save people's lives.

  • If you're having a stroke and your head's on fire, you're probably not going appreciate someone asking you "Can you smile for me please?"

  • lol

  • at least its not as bad as the woman one

  • He just looks pissed xD

The advert with the woman is rather freaky.

  • I'm glad they made these adverts because so many times people have strokes and dont realize it and wait far to long to seek treatment. I just wish they would make some about the less obvious symptoms like nubmness and tingling on one side of the face and body without paraylisis because it can be just as dangerous.

  • the one with the woman in it is scarier I think because it is shown as happening when she is at home, which kind of makes it more real.

To prevent strokes - don't get fat and for god's sake don't SMOKE.

  • I think its a good as it shows FACTS...the point of it being a little scary is to grab the audiences attention.

  • just looks like every drunk person i've ever seen

  • lmaoooo

  • To those of you who think this is funny, or have made a very negative comment about this advert, I have one thing to say to you - This advert is not a laughing matter, but a horrible reality for so many wonderful people in the world and something that could easily happen to you, or to those who you love in the blink of an eye. Count yourselves lucky its not you.

  • I agree I want it taken off it frightens me a little bit. I hope it never happens 2 me or a relative.

  • fucking idiot. it shouldn't be taken off because it frightens you. its been made to create awareness for the signs of someone having a stroke. its here to help people. fool.

  • Yup, just like the Smoking ads and Think! ads. They are designed to scare you...

Scare you out of your stupid false security and open your eyes to the real world.

  • this is pointless. Do they honestly think that before I saw this advert I wouldnt phone 999 if i saw someone i know that couldnt speak or use there facial muscles. What a waste of tax money.
