why did the european tv stations buy it so angel could continue? And make this spinoff real. They did that it the 90's on baywatch when NBC pulled the plug on it. So they could have saved the buffy/angel universe. Would have gotten them ratings and income etc. And no censorship.

They're two VERY different characters; yes, Joss made Glory "first," but that doesn't make her "original." Or rather, it doesn't make Illyria unoriginal. Having Illyria in Angel had NOTHING to do with Buffy...it was all about giving Amy Acker a chance to do something different that exercised her wide spectrum of acting chops. Jeez.

i love the way its put together but i hate the character illyria. they killed off fred for this stupid and repetitive origins story character that did not fit.

@exhaustedheadcase You have to understand that Whedon was banking on "Angel" getting a sixth season and having Fred come back alongside Illyria, existing in the same body at the same time. One idea was for Willow to guest-star and do this.

Also, Angel may not have had as high ratings as Buffy, but it was still popular, and I feel it's much BETTER than Buffy. Fred's death allowed us to take Wesley to a whole new place and it really shook things up. Not to mention Acker as Illyria is excellent.

sometimes things like that happen in real life (but not with vampires, lol) i think buffy should be cut some slack.... she made a mistake. plus that helped the show become more dramatic when her and spike had an affair. well its cool, u dont have to have her on ur credits. after all theyre yours.

I *SO* wanted to see an Illyria spin-off back in 2005! I doubt Eve would be in it (she's probably dead or in some Hell dimension as Lorne suggested) and I also doubt the show would be named after her. It'd probably be "Blue..." something...

But anyways, appropriate music, great opening sequence. Five stars!

This is the only FanMade Intro (Music Video) I've seen, out of the many I've seen, that actually warrents as decent enough to be an ACTUAL series intro. The Font Titles are well done, they don't scream "fanmade" the quality of the clips and editing are smooth, clear, and slick. Overall, I loved it. Nice Job.
