@01Zenaku01 Okay, maybe I exeggerated about Nomak. I think Drake 1st form would be equal to Nomak, and his "Monster Form" would probably kill Nomak. But in any case you have to agree that the first Blade was much more terrifying than the last 2 movies. It had a way darker atmosphere. And yeah, I still believe that La Magra (Blood God inside Frost) would own those other 2. Drake and Nomak may be physically more powerful, but they don't have what it takes to kill La Magra.

@KikoTheLumberjack It's a hybrid of sorts; The blade (scuse the pun) is styled like the German "Gross Messner" (sp?) while the grip style is more like those seen on a falchon or a scimitar. It's a kick-ass design & I've yet to discover who came up with it!

I liked how this Dracula was portrayed as an honorable warrior with actual skills rather than just super strength and whatever. I love this fight because I love seeing Blades amazing sword skills put to use and the less CGI the better. The Nomak fight was great but too much computer-blade for my liking.

La Magra was more powerful than Drake, but he lacked the skills and he had the weakness of all other vamps.

Drake is more powerful than Nomak though, his body is stronger and more dense, Blades punches and kicks hardly affected him.

If Nomak had fought Blade with swords he'd have lost quite handily.

The only problem is that I never got the feeling that Blade could lose. Against Nomak in 2, he was puking blood and was barely conscious even when he beat him after finding part of his sword. In the 1st film, Frost resurrected a vampire god and was unkillable until Blade decided to see if that chemical could still work on him but was clearly losing before that. Dracula fought clean opting for a straight sword fight and then hand to hand but it was not as intense as before (Too much build up)

I think this was one of the best portayels of Dracula I've ever seen. Not just the acting but his origin it showed how Dracula was a Devil worshiper and saw Christ get crucified. Drake definitely gave a tougher fight than Nomak. Look at the results: Nomak lost the fight and got outmatched and owned; Drake was the first vampire to actually equal/outclass Blade altogether.
