The continuing relevance of Led Zeppelin is shown by all the bands still covering them. Sure, this particular song was a cover already when Zep did it but that doesn't change the fact that many wouldn't had even heard of it without Page & Co.
First of all, Led Zep had their day and they are not relevant any more. This song is more relevant in its sound and I also thing that both this version and Tools no quarter are examples of how you can basically change loud party anthems into emotional sincere sounding songs.... Im just saying that I know people like Led Zep but I cant relate to it at all, so their versions are not "the best"

@smclean2004 Blunder isn't a noun, its a verb. Google it. Also, my words actually made sense, instead of just running together in a trainwreck of fail and gay. Also also, I'm allowed to say what I think about the video. I'm not the only who doesnt like it; look around. Everyone else's two cents are just as worthless, because its just an opinion; mine doesn't change anything, just like yours doesnt, and the opinions of the millions of fans don't. I never said APC sucks; just this song does.

OMG what a boring song!!!! The original kick ass, this just something that didn't needed to be done. And please: save the "maynard is god" shit. The continuing relevance of Led Zeppelin is shown by all the bands still covering them. Sure, this particular song was a cover already when Zep did it but that doesn't change the fact that many wouldn't had even heard of it without Page & Co.

First of all, Led Zep had their day and they are not relevant any more. This song is more relevant in its sound and I also thing that both this version and Tools no quarter are examples of how you can basically change loud party anthems into emotional sincere sounding songs.... Im just saying that I know people like Led Zep but I cant relate to it at all, so their versions are not "the best"

@MetalxN00b I thought I would get some backlash here. They have a sound that is locked in "classic rock" from a time when peoples interests and concerns were different from what they are today. Look at a band such as Radiohead where the feel and the content of their music reflects the modern era. Im just saying I feel no attachment to hearing classic rock and all its "baby I wanna have sex with you and party" lyrics, where as I akin this version more. Im just being real with you

The original song was written in the 1920's its about a real event that happened. Zepplins is MUCH MUCH better than this, ITS MORE EPIC and the drums are recorded in a different way, the hermanica is recorded backwards. and its zepplin so... ya.
