  • Nick is a fecking great writer..

but this song benefits no-end from this singer..

  • :48 LMFAO!!!!

  • Sólo darle las gracias por haber venido a este país que la quiere tanto y que la esperamos de vuelta lo antes posible Palmer&Viglione forever

  • This is pretty much the theme song I've assigned my last relationship/breakup...but that's OK, I love it anyway :)

  • I like the original better.

  • I love her. LOVE.

  • Amazing how she makes the truth both funny and romantic.

  • beginning was nice but it just got boring and repetitive after that :L

  • did she leave her tits behind the scene????

  • Nice detail that she changed Kurzweil on the keyboard to "Kurtweil" :)

  • That was a great video! "No recording" or not! I think I just feel in love, thanks.

  • Ah Yes... Momus

  • She's so awesome :) I have to turn this. Six year old right here lol

  • She's so awesome :)

  • hey hey no ish talking about Detroit. still love this song though

  • Guys, take note.

  • ha ha "hurray for the begging!"

  • I absolutely love this audience. They're so enthusiastic.

    Audience: "WOOOOOOOOO"

AFP: "... It's only the beginning."

    Audience: "YEAHHH THE BEGINNING!!!!! WOOOOOOO!"

This song is amazing too <3

  • @DigitalSyphilis They're absolutely adorable! I wish all audiences were like that, but then, all performers would have to be Amanda Palmer.

...I wish all audiences were like that.

  • i cried....

  • gay.

and by that i mean completely fucking amazing.

  • I actually want to fuck her <3

  • Why is she so cool?

  • I wish she'd put this on album or something. Better than the original...not to belittle the original work, mind you.

  • Zoo animal in audience: "WOOOOOOO!" Amanda: "Don't make me worry.." haha. I love that. :)

  • August Strindberg was indirectly referenced in a song by Palmer titled "Strength Through Music", which contains an audio clip of a web cartoon called Strindberg and Helium. The cartoon almost exclusively quotes Strindberg's work.

  • Such an amazing performance. I'm now obsessed with this song/performance by her.

  • i really hate those fuckin' screamers who hear such words as fuck or lick for the first time in their lives.

  • Oh my GOD!! What a wonder she is. I'm madly in love with Amanda Palmer.

  • when she says "We're here one minute, the next we're dead" i kept thinking she was saying,"We're here one minute, in amsterdam". Then I heard the origanal version, and can tell what she's really saying.

  • I hope that security guard lost his nuts in a tragic accident involving a butcher knife and absolutely no pain killers shortly after this video was disturbed.

  • I like that I like this song...

  • love her, i actually cried

  • " but i dont fucking need you " lol

  • Wow. Really? Yeah that's the thing about Amanda, you gotta drink the koolaid.

  • when she's holding that drink in the beginning she seriously looks like a drunken english chick to me...

But after that she was amazing

    Very nice

  • Fuck, I love this song!!

It amazes and humours me! Can't wait until she puts it on CD!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

  • For some reason it's not letting me post it. Send me a message if you want it.

  • I just spent 2 hours transcribing this into sheet music, so i might as well share it. I don't know how to write in tab so I'll just post the notes and you'll have to figure out which octave it's in. I'll capitalize the treble notes. If you have any alterations to correct this just let me know.

  • Her fingers dance and glide across the keyboard. <3 <3 <3

  • I LOVE AMFP!!!! xD her concerts are FUCKING AWESOME!!

  • amanda palmer is the shit

  • i love her sooooo fucking much

  • "dont make me worry"

    lol..

  • well, I just listened to the original and I honestly like this one better. However, I don't see how they're sooo different, because there not. They're both good. Not only that, but this is live so it's not as good as a recorded, mastered song. But I guess you can't do anything without critics.

  • Honestly I haven't heard of Amanda until tonight, but I laughed my ass off at this song, and was thoroughly impressed with her ability to interact with the audience... when she got to the "*uck you" part I almost peed myself laughing. I will definitely go to one of her concerts IF she ever comes to Kentucky (which may be much worse than Detroit, so I don't know if I will ever get the chance... LOL ... and she is RIGHT, Chi town is SOOOO much better than the Motor City, smells better too! :-)

  • Well i am glad that a new fan has been made. welcome to the amanda-lovers. lmao. Yes, DEFINATELY go to her concerts. they are amazing.

  • That "Just the Beginning" song was cool. It's nice that she played it twice. It kinda reminds me of another song I've heard.

  • ?????!! that was the beginning to the song. she played it again because the audience interupted her.

(stating this cuz i'm not sure if you were being funny [in that case Haha!] or if you are just plain stupid)

  • ahhhhhh esta bien buena

  • Props PlacesP, for the clear quality of this recording, video and audio - I'm sure Amanda would be most happy :). Too bad about the guard that didn't get the memo. Sigh. Not sure I've seen an artist with soooo many consistent mentions on here and other review sites about how just moving/fun/kickass/genuine she is to see live - whether in concert or out busking on the street (yes she does ...). Saw at Coachella '09 ... I was grinnin' for days after, still am really :) ...

  • alguien sabe donde puedo conseguir esa canción!!!!!! T_________T

  • Annoying screamers.

  • Haha, but the fans are just showing their support and cheering her on! =p They are annoying, but for a good cause xD

  • yay :) I did her make up here :D hah

  • and you did an amazing job :)

  • yeah go sydney AFP you are Fabulous (also the danger ensemble). superspanger did you dress up cause i was the one in the thigh high converse boots with the fuzzy hair which one were you?????

  • She played this last night in Sydney too

  • Amanda, can I please marry you?

We could listen to Momus all night long and wouldn't even have the idea of needing each other :)

  • damn the security man for ruining such a fantastic recording!

  • she played this two nights ago in dublin - fucking amazing performer. she's so awesome. <3 her in-between-song-banter is so adorable also!

  • She played this here in Camden London tonight, really wish I could find an audio download for this song. Any thoughts?

  • that was a good qualitry recording compared to most recorded concerts.

    props to that.

    i love a effin p. XD

  • Wonder Ballroom in Portland, she played this. <333 This song is so great, xD. I hope Momus has heard her perform it.

  • He has. He had a short mention of it on his blog. I think it was over on Live Journal, but don't quote me. I've lost the web address.

  • She has to be the cutest thing in the world! :D

  • a kurzweil. right on.

  • I would absolutely get to know Amanda's hairdresser!

    ;)

  • Her show in Portland was AMAZING! She's such a great performer, so eccentric and bubbly and has a really great connection with her audience. One of the most fun concerts I've ever been to!

  • This show was freakin' awesome.

  • she played this in portland too :DDD

    i love her

  • she played this song in LA. wow, amazing xD

  • I was at the Portland show too, and loved this song so much! I tracked down who did the original before I found this video, but it's great that you put it on there. Thanks for posting it!

  • i was in portland too!

    she was wonderous.

  • I was there too =DDD

  • haha! YAY! Me to!

  • I JUST SAW HER LAST NIGHT IN PORTLAND OR!!!

Oh my god!! SHE WAS SO AMAZING!!!

  • i luvs ya! :D

    teehee.

we were purdy but not as smexi as amanda.

  • you'd think it'd be okay to record at an afp show, you know? =/

    but great video XD

  • Amanda's shows are all open-taping unless otherwise specified.

  • Someone might have wanted to mention that to the guy who kept tapping me on the shoulder. I had no issues filming during the Dresden Dolls show we saw at The Vic in January. I've been there a few times since and OMG, talk about camera Nazis. They're stringent so if they could get the "free to tape" Dresden Dolls memo I don't understand what the Metro's problem was. Although he was nice enough to let me stay and not toss me or confiscate my camera.

  • Beautifully done and beautifully taped. This was one of my favorite numbers of the night. Ok, actually it was all so good....! :)
