but i have to give tommy full credit that he took on a very big role especially the role of space ace, and i think tommy is totally hot but it just aint right i mean come one! and i hate the fact that it was paul and genes idea for this cuz i really love paul so much but what can you do about it!!! i just have to say all this cuz its the truth in my eyes. i really dont believe the makeup should be on tommy or anyone else I LOVE ACE PAUL PETER AND SORTA GENE AND I WISH EVEYTHING COULD BE FIXED!!!

did anyone notice that paul couldn't really look into the guys face....... now i know people always diss on tommy but its true he should not be wearing the makeup and doing the moves of ace frehley...i'm sorry but ace is a god and there will be no one to replace him but there will probably not be another reunion tour so anyways they should just change the make up cause it isnt right you have to think how ace feels besides would u want someone stealing your look even tho ur not apart of it.....

I say that Tommy MIGHT be better then Ace 'cause he can adapt to the situation. Ace will always play like Ace. Tommy plays Ace as well as Ace and his own style too. He is more adaptable. I bet that Ezrin wouldn't have brought in a different guitarist for the solo in Detroit Rock City if it had been Thayer trying to play it. It simply isn't a hard solo and Ace couldn't get it. KISS fan since '76. Have seen Ace solo 4 times. With KISS '78 & '96. I have a lot of respect for Ace. Peter however ?

I wasn't a fan of every band that came out in the 80's,and I don't know the lineup of several bands,especially if their sound didn't appeal to me.That is the way Black and Blue were to me.I wasn't a fan of theirs and did not know anything about them.So I honestly did not know that Tommy Thayer played in Black and Blue.However,I do know that he has been friends and songwriting partners with KISS for years.That I did know.Now he is a member.Way to go Tommy!

Look guys, it's unfortunate that Tommy's role is to play the part as the Spaceman, but to also be the new guitar player in Kiss. I would personally love to see some new makeup designed for Tommy and Eric so people will not only shut up, but to let Peter and Ace retire or get on with their careers.

I'm not going to be a vicious name caller but i think its kinda WACK for Tommy and Eric to dress up and sing songs of Ace and Peter....WTF! Really, is it true Gene and Paul want to redo and keep copyrights of old songs to keep $ from Ace and Peter...? Loyalty knows no home other than what time provides. So those who side with Tommy and Eric for the most are either those that don't care who wears the make-up that was designed and belongs to the men who created it - or those who only know tommy as the spaceman or eric as the cat.

actually, myself as a guitarist, ace frehely was one of the most terrible guitar players..if you kno wat a shuffle is, its wat i learned on my first day of lessons. rock n roll all nite is a shuffle...im probably gonna get a million thumbs down on this, but its the truth.
