@shanepaulcoward I Know you are right we do not do enough, The Balbriggan Summerfest committee have fund raising events all year round, a lot of small collections and a serious amount of work to make it happen. I am lead to believe that the cost of the festival was about 20,000 euro. Balbriggan has a population of of 16;000, when you do the maths its exceptionally good value for money, an event that benefits the community and unites the people with the Guards, Yes we should have more!!
Looks like fun and such fine weather as well! You can't beat a good charity rubber duck race!
