It's such a shame that she is not dancing any more. I cannot believe. I ahve been her fan since my childhood. Unfortunately Ballet is a very short term profession.

@takogoguka it is sad she isn't dancing anymore but she had a very long and prosperous career known throught the world and loved by many and now she is the head of the State Ballet of Georgia and watching over the new talent :)

@takogoguka She just left my school today after a wonderful week of teaching Don Quixote to us! She's AMAZING! Every time she'd show us the steps of Kitri, she looked like she was on stage! So much passion and character!!

Seeing her dance this part makes me smile - she really knows how to act. She owns the part and obviously enjoys it. That's so much better than just dancing it prettily with perfect technique (which she does as well)!

I love that she was never afraid of the speed, Plisetskaya, Maximova and Nina danced fast, without loosing elegance or techique... and it is absolutely beautiful... you don´t see that so often
