  • ]

    [p[[oo

  • are you on crack? the best music from the continent comes from just west of ghana. ghana does have great music though.

  • lol.. ask yourself your own questions. are you on crack? don't let the modern Ghanaian music fool you because the young people have changed it. Go back and do your research because all the best African song like "ajwoa" all cane from Ghana. and that song is probably the best African song ever. ask any African who knows music and they'll know that song. Even you probably know it. artist from all over Africa have tried to imitate that song, they're so in love. nothing better than the original. :)

  • i was just having having fun man. i know ghana has great music. just not the best lol.

  • you have no proof of what you're saying. i gave you a perfect reference. i mean adwoa was so good that like 20 years later ppl are still trying to remake it so.. unless you can give me a song from a diff country that skyrocketed higher than that one. i dunno 'man'.

  • okay i will gaive you a few, there is huh vuli ndlela by brenda fassie, and humm premier gaou by magic system and many more songs that are renowned throughout the world as being some of the best ever...

Look man ghana's music is great, i'm not saying it's not. Just stop saying it's the kind of music god dances to lol.

  • whats super hilarious is the fact that those songs aren't classics. In fact some of those songs i don't even know. The only reason why i know that song Gaou by magic system is because my dads friend is their manager. so wtv

  • okayyyy, lets end this, you are a brave warrior, and you obviously love your country. this argument is going nowhere so i hereby declare you victorious.

  • This isn't about my love for my country. im not some kind of patriotic idiot. This is about music.I never said that Ghanaian music was 'the music that gods dance to' or anything like that. i just didn't like the first comment that you made. asking people if they are on crack and saying that the best music comes just west of Ghana. You can't classify the 'best music'. music is different; there are different genres. Declare me winner if you want but i wasn't trying to win anything.

  • you are so right. what is the best or not is relative especially when the rythm is the only thing u can associate with and not the words or the country.

  • NO,are you on crack? west of Ghana? You mean Cote d'Ivoire? man please. I'm ghanian, was born & raised in Cote d'Ivoire & spent 16y of my life there. Ivorians can dance i'll give you that, but when it comes to music (lyrics + beats) they arent even close to ghanians. SORRY.Ivorian music is made to dance to (lyrics dont make sense). They have new dance styles every 3months or so (eg Bobaraba,Kpangor, lebede, sans guebe etc). Only world class artist from there is meyway. PS: Premier Gaou is OVERRATED

  • and meiway is even a ghanaian, an nzema, who was educated in gh till after SSS. he attended a secondary school in half assini, nzema, ghana

  • Comment removed

  • im ivorien but i agreed with you!!!......who even dance to premier gaou anymore beside the nigerians!!!..sooo yesterday!!! lol.....but beside meiway we do have gadji celi and much more good ones from babi though...+coupe decale is not music,

  • lol actually i used to be gadji celi's neighbor in abidjan (deux plateaux)...very cool guy and love his music too...also there is alpha blondy
