I got the Mustang a couple months ago and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it is that I can't hold a constant speed. Do you know of anyway I can hold the speed ?(Kind of like an Autothrottle) I realize the mustang doesn't have it but I can only get up to 16,000 before my airspeed goes below 120 KIAS. I can seem to keep a condtant speed, and get a high altitude.

hey Valkyrie, how do you "Save" your flight Plan.

after punching in all waypoints, and seeing the results on MFD, I go into "Menu" and scroll down to "Save" flight Plan, then hit ENTER, but.....nothing seems to happen. i can't imagine Flight1 "Modeled" the MENU and "Save flight Plan" buttons, only to have them do....Nothing?? any help? and does YOUR GPS magenta line, get a little "Off" from aircraft while in NAV? mine does. also, MFD Range shows "Half" what i have entered?

really amazing aircraft. they did a great job. few functions not modeled in Garmin 1000, but.....that's about it. they even modeled aircraft Picking up "Icing" if temperature is cold enough at Flight Level! OMG!!  just turn on Anit-Ice equipment, and watch it Sublimate off the Leading edge, and Windscreen. love this Plane.

Is it true that the Cessna mustangs and Ciatations' don't have auto-throttle?

The Citation does not have an auto throttle.

As for the Mustang, it has a very rudimentary one. It sets speed for takeoff, climb and cruise.

I do other stuff, but primarily FSX. However, if building strictly for FSX, I think I would have done other things. Regardless, it still acts well.

I have all my drop down menus set to the highest possible. Not necessarily the sliders however. I have water at 2xlow.

When I upgrade to the new CoreI7 I'll max everything out.

The drop down detail menus for all the settings. To wring out your performance, make sure you have SP2/Acceleration and a few tweaks which are freely available on the net. Also make sure you have no background tasks running. I suggest TweakGuides (google it) to limit the background activity.
