I'm new to Lemax and haven't had a good experience of it so far. This year I bought the Medford Glass Blowers - broken when it came out the box. "Angel Wings" - again it was broken and the boy's limbs were not as they were represented on the box (you could see up his body so his arms and legs looked separate!) The dog was poorly stuck down. and "Reindeer Rides" was completely plastered in blobs of glue - it had even dribbled down the side. Was hoping for the Devaney Bakery, but sold out :(
I am sorry to hear that you have had such bad luck with your Lemax purchases - I would take them back for exchange or a refund because poor manufacturing is a fault that you should have to accept. I too have occasionally had really bad pieces - a price we pay for Chinese manufacturing, but I get them exchanged.
Good luck in the future, and thanks for viewing my site - the 2009 display video was posted last night - have a peek. Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous 2010 !
Mostly Caddington Village and mostly houses except for the small town at the foot of the hill, but as a rule, I try not to distinguish my collection too closely to the Lemax themes, more as to what goes well together.
Thanks for your kind comments. Actually it took me about only 2 weeks to set it up, in between grandfather duties, but then I have been doing it for many years !
Thank you for your kind comments. I definitely intend to add more videos of newer displays as this year's display I used less that 25% of my houses - I try to rotate them rather than use them all every year. Check out my blogspot under the same name I have links to my picasa albums and webshots albums on it.
I have posted 2 new videos of my Village Display in a Tree 2005 and 2007 versions - do check them out ! As far as I know, I am the only one who has done this!
I see a lot of people who really overcrowd their village displays... not here! Great job!

Awesome! You must spend months on your display! I also love it that you are so open with your suggestions to all who post on your channel.
Thanks for the inspiration, and for sharing!
