I've been listening to this version since 2007 and I've been trying to give the album version a chance since it came out in 2010, and this still blows the album version away big time. I was crushed when I heard the album version and it's not just because I was so familiar with this version first. I can look at the two objectively and honestly say that the album version is so impotent and that this is easily the best. The album version is flimsy to me.

I agree, even though it's one of my favourites on the album, and I actually heard the studio version before this, I prefer this version so much more. The one on the album seems overproduced, and it kinda takes away from the whole raw emotion of this performance. Kevin Drew is fkn amazing.
