@mrsteelersfan23 If you look at it, the substrate is actually a bunch of fibrous plastic prongs. The water also probably has enough time to disperse to lose some of its pressure before hitting the bottom while hitting the object with enough force to cut it. It's probably got something to do with that. =P You'd have to look into it.
