The tune being played is a Guajarti Bhajan "Vaishnav Jan To Tene Re Kahiye" by Narsinh Mehta. It's a very favorite bhajan amongst Gujaratis and who loves bhajans. This bhajan is traditionaly sung in Raag Khamaj, also sang by many including Lata Mangeshkar and Anup Jalota. The same bhajan is rendered in movie Gandhi by Asit Desai in a different Raga.
