I don't understand why Journey isn't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Some might not like their music but you have to respect it. Videos like this show just how influential they are.
I was there. Best game of my life. Giants won 9-0 and the entire stadium was filled with diehard fans who are willing to camp over night to get 500$ tickets. And to make things better I got in for free! Some guy who worked for the giants gave us free tickets when we were just standing in mays plaza!
If aliens ever come to Earth, I wouldn't take them to a museum; I wouldn't take them to a cathedral or to the office of any world leader. I'd take 'em to a baseball game.
Because when you've seen 50,000 people watching a man hit a ball with a stick (and love it), and then hear them all singing along to a song, and really, truly FEEL the strength of their combined voices vibrating through a billion tons of concrete and steel beneath your feet... you can begin to understand humanity.

Just watching this moment of sheer happiness, after all we have been through, 04, 03, 02!!!, 2000, 97, 93, 89, 87 and to get to this point, this moment just seemed like a pure release from the decades of "torture"
Liverpool and Anfield has "You'll Never Walk Alone", The BoSox and Fenway have "Sweet Caroline," but truthfully being able to experience AT&T Park and Giants fans with "Lights" and "Don't Stop Believing" has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.
My boss went to this game and he said it was chilling how special of a moment this was. He said everyone was so into this song and how it felt like the entire city of SF united to sing it.
Tell me it wouldnt have been awesome if they cut the music at the end so all we could hear was just our voices. I loved this night and I love the Giants.

For the last five years of my life, I've been everywhere but home. Germany, Korea, Iraq, Kuwait, Washington State. I grew up watching Williams, Gardner, Bonds, Kent, Snow, Schmidt...I was devastated as a child in the '02 series.
I wanted nothing more then to be home last fall, to watch some games with my pop like the old days. This video reminds me of the magic last season, and brings me one step closer to being home. Thank you so much.

It was worth every penny getting to be there and experiencing it in person and seeing our boys finally bringing one back to the Bay. This was great. I was out in the bleachers, and, as a die hard giants fan and city boy, fucking LOVE this song, and i was trying to sing it but my voice was GONE after 8 innings of yelling and shit. Was beautiful hearing the whole park sing it though.
I paid $555 dollars to go to this game and sit in top row. My parents car broke down while mom was pregnant with me on Golden Gate Bridge and this song started on radio as soon as car stoped. They played this song at my fathers funeral services. Giants scored 7 runs after every person in stadium sang this song. It seriously was one of the best nights of my life. WE DID IT DAD!!!!!! WE FUCKING DID IT!!!!! I can't believe we won!!! Especially cause god is a yankee fan!!!!!!!

I had in a standing seat right above the left field bleachers and I was amongst the thousands singing this song in unison and cheering on our GIANTS in their 9-0 rout of Texas. The unity of our fans and spirit for our team was electric and completely amazing. Coming from an AUTHENTIC GIANTS FAN, I have never been prouder of our boys in black and orange. Go Giants baby! holy crap...im 14 ive been to 2 world series (2002, 2010), two games that steve perry was at (nlcs game 5 and this one) i went to the all star game at att where ichiro made history with the inside the park home run, i was at bonds' 756, bonds' 73 was my parents anaversery and i was there, ive been to every opening day at att/pac bell/sbc park, my names on a brick in front of the stadium, ive been on the green monster at fenway, i was at the last old timers day at the old yankee stadium. IMLUCKY!
I can't watch this enough. The Steve Perry angle on the season brought the magic and this vid captures the spell. My son is 2 &1/2 and SO into the Giants, but he will not remember the games we went this year or the Championship run or even the parade. I hope that I have this video around for decades to come, because showing it to him will let him know how great and important the Series was to us back in 2010.

This was great. I was out in the bleachers, and, as a die hard giants fan and city boy, fucking LOVE this song, and i was trying to sing it but my voice was GONE after 8 innings of yelling and shit. Was beautiful hearing the whole park sing it though.

I paid $555 dollars to go to this game and sit in top row. My parents car broke down while mom was pregnant with me on Golden Gate Bridge and this song started on radio as soon as car stoped. They played this song at my fathers funeral services. Giants scored 7 runs after every person in stadium sang this song. It seriously was one of the best nights of my life. WE DID IT DAD!!!!!! WE FUCKING DID IT!!!!! I can't believe we won!!! Especially cause god is a yankee fan!!!!!!!

I was there for that and it was hands down one of the most amazing things that I have ever felt!!! Literally every single giants fan started singing. This is a memory that I will LOVE for the rest of my life.

I see a guy with a laptop watching Justing Beiber videos during 0:47... What the heck? I would literary do ANYTHING to go to a Giants World Series game, and some stupid guy is sitting watching Justin Beiber. Life isn't fair sometimes... I wish I could've been there.

this shit makes me cry. im not lying. im a diehard giants fan since 87(the year i was born). my whole family is. i was born in salinas and right now live in phoenix,az and was here this whole season. i got t o see them 5 times when they were here against the diamondbacks this year and the very 1st spring training game in peoria and a shit ton at they're spring training facility in scottsdale and plan to again this march. but this is just unreal. this whole season. we proved em all wrong giants!

I had in a standing seat right above the left field bleachers and I was amongst the thousands singing this song in unison and cheering on our GIANTS in their 9-0 rout of Texas. The unity of our fans and spirit for our team was electric and completely amazing. Coming from an AUTHENTIC GIANTS FAN, I have never been prouder of our boys in black and orange. Go Giants baby! World Series champs!!!!!!!

I was in my raft in mccovey cove for this game. Hearing 42,000 people singing this in unison is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. I wish i was in the stadium for this moment.

I used to live in the Bay Area, but have since moved away. I kept Giants season tickets, and made it out for Game 1. It was awesome. You captured the feeling beautifully here.
SF Bay Area residents: you don't know how lucky you are to live in such a beautiful place. I play this over and over, and my eyes tear up every time. I miss the Bay Area.

I went to that game, I remember that. I went to both nlcs game 5 and world series game 2, and Steve Perry was there. It was a game that I will never forget.

holy crap...im 14 ive been to 2 world series (2002, 2010), two games that steve perry was at (nlcs game 5 and this one) i went to the all star game at att where ichiro made history with the inside the park home run, i was at bonds' 756, bonds' 73 was my parents anaversery and i was there, ive been to every opening day at att/pac bell/sbc park, my names on a brick in front of the stadium, ive been on the green monster at fenway, i was at the last old timers day at the old yankee stadium. IMLUCKY!

I can't watch this enough. The Steve Perry angle on the season brought the magic and this vid captures the spell. My son is 2 &1/2 and SO into the Giants, but he will not remember the games we went this year or the Championship run or even the parade. I hope that I have this video around for decades to come, because showing it to him will let him know how great and important the Series was to us back in 2010.

Just. Epic. I haven't been the biggest fan of sports, but I know how much the Giants' victory has impacted EVERYONE around me...and of course, to see this: Perry and and a couple thousand Giants fans singing "Lights" in unison - you just can't beat that!!

Just signed up on youtube to comment on this video. Hey Kid, you did an absolutely fantastic job capturing this moment. I was there with my 3 brothers and hearing this song and the crowd was unforgettable. Other than my wedding and the birth of my 3 kids, singing along with my fellow Giants fans at Game 2 has been the highlight of my life. Thanks for allowing me to relive it, Kid!
