To clear up;

Nairn is a coastal town in East Scotland. It's nice.

This was taken in 2009, I've progressed somewhat in the last two years and if you want to do that it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY TO HAVE A TEACHER.

@emilgrisen With all the respect that this beautiful instrument deserves I will say...violin is a bitch...when you don't give it the treat it deserves. You will realise that you NEED a teacher as soon as you attempt to play it based only on online tutorials. :/ I'm a violinist, trust me.

wahaha go girl you sound like me when I'm playing the violin it's very hard to learn violin without any teacher and you sound like you have no teacher that's good and like me I have no teacher and it's hard for me because I'm left handed. so I'm requesting here I'm calling all violinists if you're left handed like me tell me how you got pro in bow strokes and bow levels.

@RenCa05 I've progressed a lot since this... with the help of the the teacher I have most definittely had since I started learning. Its not an instrument you can teach yourself...

@gooseberry2k8 yeah you're right it's very hard to teach yourself with this instrument and still I can't afford to have any teacher yet because I have no time. work, school, I can't concentrate on the instrument yet so may be if I have a teacher it would only take three to five months of studying but without any supervision from a qualified teacher it would take a year or so oh man...

@RenCa05 haha exact same problem here im left handed to i have no teacher because to expensive and i only learn by ear because i cant read notes. however music is my love for life so ill never give up.

an i think it doesnt really matter if your left or right handed just practise like playing piano youd have to learn both hands to do the same thing anyways goodluck my friend :D
