This was actually written in 1958 by johnny greenan, johnny o'keefe and dave owens. it was perfomed by johnny o'keefe and recorded in 1958 and released onto a 78rpm album called shakin' at the stadium. o'keefe was an aussie rocker. it was later released by buddy holly and others as real wild child. i like iggy pops version though.
