I love the one-handed camera/bike handling. I wonder how the frame bags will be in a cross wind. There's a lot of surface area there. They will definitely be better than panniers in a head wind.

Looking at their web site, I think Surly has straightened the top tube on the 2011 BD. Do you think the main triangle bag will still fit?

the new big dummy frame: would need a different frame bag. every set of Porcelain Rocket bags is custom.

cross wind:  the bike is a big bike. Its not like riding a 17lb road bike with 60mm deep aero wheels. Cross winds are significant when the front wheel is affected. i.e. deep dish aero wheel, or panniers on the fork. The frame bags are center line, center mass, and with the center of gravity down low.
