Btw, PLEASE DON'T feed birds via feeders!! These little guys over-feed themselves and often that causes their stomachs and intestines to clog whereby they die agonizing deaths!!

I actually was feeding birds here a couple of years ago in the winter and I didn't understand why I would see dead ones now and then until I had a clear dream of a beautiful little bird in a straightjacket and was pooping out lots of seeds! When I woke up I took it down because I got the message!

(I once had a dream that that's what was going on when I was feeding them and finding some had died.) 2) Yes; you're a cutie, no question. (You were probably a hummingbird in your last life!;-)

@planespotterfmo well in california we have like no cool birds. we have seagulls some type of sandpiper i believe we have pigeons cuz what city doesnt and we have tree sparrows, egrets, the quail (which u never see anyway) we have pelicans the condor but there almost all gone which is sad. oh and the bald eagle but there almost al gone as well.... ya but the only birds you see are gulls, pigeons and sparrows. lame and boring.

When I was around 4, my dumb dad gave me and my brother each a b.b. gun and said, "Don't shoot robins." (Mich state bird.) A few moments after hearing him say that, my brother shot a bird. We ran up to it and it was fluttering up-side down bleeding with its beak hanging out the back of its head!

Too much psychological stuff to mention hear, suffice it to say that I went down a long, bad road before I came to my senses.

But as an adult, I do contribute money to an outfit that goes around answering calls concerning injured birds; they treat them and release the birds back into the wild. In my will I'm having nearly all of my (little) money go towards the welfare of animals. Of course nothing I say or do will make up for using animals as targets when I was little, but I don't allow that fact to keep me from helping..

I once wrote Daisy BB Gun an email relating to them my "bonding" experience I had with my brother, telling them of the damage to one's heart their product causes. They didn't write back. I go through sporting good stores and see their Daisy Red Ryder bb gun (same model my dad gave me and my brother back around '59) and it says on the box, "The legend continues!" How horrible is that?! You sound like a really wonderful young lady!!:-)
