my first time in Kara, the raid took 7 hours. We have a 70 healer, me (72 dps warrior), a 73 mage, and a 80 naxx-geared pally. I was completely blown away by this raid! By taking so long, you really get a chance to see all the scenery!
Karazhan was one of the most fantastic raids of all of WoW. Whenever I describe it to people who've never run it (For shame, my friends) is... It was a story. It was a children's storybook, gone wrong. But not gone like 'bloody' wrong, just imagine that the big bad wolf actually got little red riding hood, or imagine that the wicked witch of the west got her way. That's how I describe this raid. This raid was utterly fantastic, unique, and amazingly fun.
Ah, the old times when i used to expect unannounced visitors, and made preparations each night! The days when my lucky pocket was heavily wanted item, and any tank desired it! But now? Now i have just one line to say to you blizzard.

I played vanilla WoW and it wasn't nearly as good as Burning Crusade, whats so great about getting .5 fps through a long ass raid and having to split 4 items between 40 people,considering you even down the bosses, and having to buff each person 1 by 1. Burning Crusade was by far the best. I would never go back to Vanilla > >

@Abysia You got low FPS on everything, I played a druid during TBC and unless you had a really good connection for the time, you lagged your ass off. TBC was kinda shit imo. Don't get me wrong, I miss it, but I'm glad Blizzard made the changes they did otherwise I wouldn't miss it and it would be the same old stuff (Obviously). As far as elitist jerks goes, that depends on your server and who you play with. My guild has done full FL and is working on heroic and we have a blast doing it.
I hear this music and all I can remember is the 6 hours of SHEER FRUSTRATION my guild went through in Karazhan trying to kill Shade of Aran or whatever he was called. When you wipe for the 20th time and you hear this music over and over, it's enough to make one go insane.
And yet other nights we just sailed through every single boss without a single wipe. Weird.
By far the best music of Karazhan. It gives the place such a great atmosphere. I miss the old raiding days, but I go back there all the time still and make sure the music is up loud and all the lights are off ^.^

@BloodsailAdmiralTdk Ulduar was about stopping an Old God from destroying the world and stopping the creators of the universe from rebuilding Azeroth. Karazhan was about exploring an old tower and killing an unimportant demon. Karazhan was fun, but it wasn't as epic as Ulduar.
@DevoutSkeptic Malchezaar had acces to all realities and dimensions, only the fact that he controlled whole karazhan said that his power is kinda big. If not stopped, he would be able to destroy countless worlds for sure.
I like this music it gives me insperation to write.. write about some poem about a looooong hallway full of dancing ghosts ( lost people who quit WoW) that dance to this music sorrowfully, some having the time of thier afterlives.. Wow what world of warcraft and some spooky dungeon and magneficent music can create in one persons imagination :D
i have heard a lot of WoW songs but this one is just keep reminding me about those day......good days.......... when people didn't care about your gearscore and just had fun!
The time that warriors weren't nerfed and still were OP and we had real hunters(no offense of the hunters to today)

I remember all the OP people of my realm Anub'Arak and I remember them on trade and everything... alot of awesome people have quit since then :( some of my best friends I had too... and I remember Kara first coming out. was never geared enough to go though but I finally went in late WOTLK and it is by far my favorite raid! There will definitely never EVER be any expansion like BC or any raid like Kara

Its an instrument that looks like the piano and works on allmost the same sistem, but has been used before the piano was discovered and the piano is more deep-toned.
Yeah, a harpsichord is an early predecessor of the piano. It has at least one keyboard, sometimes more than one for organists who would often practice on harpsichords. The sound comes from pressing the keys which cause plectrums inside the body of the instrument to pluck strings of varying lengths, in contrast to the piano which strikes strings with felt covered hammers. The harpsichord fell out of use mainly because it had no way to control dynamics (volume) and it doesn't have a sustain pedal.
It's meant to sound out of tune and twisted because that's what karazhan is; Run down and twisted, and i think the effect of the out of tune is because of the feeling of everything being so old, the harpsichord might be a little broken after a few years

Its an instrument that looks like the piano and works on allmost the same sistem, but has been used before the piano was discovered and the piano is more deep-toned.

Yeah, a harpsichord is an early predecessor of the piano. It has at least one keyboard, sometimes more than one for organists who would often practice on harpsichords. The sound comes from pressing the keys which cause plectrums inside the body of the instrument to pluck strings of varying lengths, in contrast to the piano which strikes strings with felt covered hammers. The harpsichord fell out of use mainly because it had no way to control dynamics (volume) and it doesn't have a sustain pedal.

It's meant to sound out of tune and twisted because that's what karazhan is; Run down and twisted, and i think the effect of the out of tune is because of the feeling of everything being so old, the harpsichord might be a little broken after a few years
