Scotland and Wales took the decision that because there wasn't 1 united UK team and the fact they were playing as individual nations they would have their own anthems. England actually considered having their own anthem as well. The Union Flag is their national flag but naturally when playing as individual teams will use their own regional flag to represent them.

I totally agree we should all be getting alone and all be respecting each-other. For that very reason its very offensive to my community in Northern Ireland to be part of an all Ireland Rugby team but not have our national anthem played or our flag flown alongside the Republic of Ireland.

If you want to respect both sides then do it fairly !
