  • hey man this is great, any music for it, i really wanna play it :DD

  • I have a 54 strat body with a 57 neck. Lace Sensor Holy Grails and the Clapton mid-boost circuit. Sweet strat tone with the ability to thicken up to near Les Paul tone. Anywho, nice tone there dude

  • NIce sound.

  • This is so close to "With Arms Wide Open"

  • 1st:: Very nice song; it would be a great bed for some lyrics. 2nd: I'm a Lace fan, and yours is probably the best demo of the golds I've heard. Lots of pickups can scream, grind and crunch. Cean, however, they ain't got it. Lace have so much throughout the spectrum, it's almost a shame to distort the sound. But, if you dial them in, they can scream with an almost human voice. Great choice: Perfect for a budding songwriter. Now, please, buy a rhyming dictionary and get to work on some lyrics.

  • sounds a lot like far away by nickelback

  • Looks like you're using a thumb pick. Is it a Fred Kelly? Nice sounds - I am looking to buy a Strat with Lace Sensors - that's why I'm watching this. I use thumbpicks too. Now I play a Gretch mostly, but I want a Strat. A red one - like yours!

  • I have some lace sensors i just bought...im trying to figure out how to slove the humming problem with my guitar...but im doing some satch covers...check them out if you want to in about a week.....

    nice playing btw !!1 :P

    soul~

  • no one asked for the 80's my friend

  • Very nice ring and tone on the pickups, dude... I am wondering witch pu's to purchase for my US-Strat. I already have one with a EMG DG20 pickup set on, and I am very satisfied with that setup. -Tnx for this nice post Fibson86

  • Dude I got the same thing MAN!! My Guitar is BETTER though

  • @chadster098 what forces you to make such an senceless comment?

  • You guys could tell wich Lace Sensor is the best for Blues ?

  • eh i dont like the effect... i bet it would be nice acoustic

  • this is pretty nice!

  • the beginning is just like Far Away from Nickelback...

    anyway, it's nice. great, dude!

  • wow u sound like creed dude!

  • gold pickups on all 3 positions??

  • Nice song ;) didn't think it's selfmade 'till I read it.

  • That's has a very Eric Johnson tone to my ear.

  • so what make lace censor good what makes em tock i just am confused, what kind of stuff are they best for blues jazz rock what???

  • Comment removed

  • ONE LAST BREATH by creed mhm in the beggining thats what it sounds like

  • This thing sounds like a song i heard from creed or nickleback >.>

  • reminds me of creed straight away

  • @geoff1121 also listen to john mellencamps "aint even done with the night" seems very similar in feel to this

  • did you get the pickups seperately or buy the prewired pickguard with them?

  • Mark Knopfler's right hand style. :) Nice song!

  • Nah man, it sounds fine with a bit of effects color.

    Very pretty. An angelic tone.

  • Sounds like praise and worship style guitar.

  • i think it would sound better on an acoustic without any effects. still pretty good

  • thats real nice, tasteful playing and nice melody.

  • that's a great tune you wrote :)

  • Its pretty good but get rid of some of those effects it comes off kind of corny with that chorus.

  • Really like your style, what's with all these lace sensor pickups? lol i've never heard of them before, they sound really nice though, i think i'll go check them out. nice playing. :)

  • basically lace sensors use a special way of packaging the poles to eliminate hum, somewhat like humbuckers

  • sounds pretty cool...i'm gonna have to check em out sometime... thanks :)

  • Nice. Reminds me of "Purple Rain" era Prince and the Revolution music. Is Prince an influence on your music? "Purple Rain" would sound right on your guitar. Not sure but what guitar it was recorded on tho? Wendy's Ric? But did it have Ric pickups in it? Or on Princes weird German guitar?

  • you get a great sound from them

  • i thought at first this was a nickelback cover lol

  • It's obvious and indecent...3 accords...incredibile...

  • It's decent, but it's to obvious. You are playing the chords of each note of the major scale in a descending way. This makes it very obvious (eg, I know which chord you will switch to next before you do it).

    But keep it up

  • wow that was was beutiful.. fantastic! great tone too

  • hmm it sounds good but it sounds to much like far away by nickel back to me still good tho

  • Wow, this is beautiful. I'm loving the sound of that strat. Next guitar I'm going to buy is definatly a strat.

  • the sensors may make it sound less like a strat. just keep that in mind, but i dont know what sensors hes using. im thinking of getting some myself

  • Great sound but interesting song, too

  • what are lace sensors

  • Lace Sensors are this kind of Pickups, it's a brand name.

  • Hi. Great song! What guitar effect are you using in this song?

  • chorus, reverb and acoustic simulator

  • watsup man the pickups are lace sensor gold or hot gold

  • this are no hot golds...

the hot golds have more output, so they are hotter! =)

  • Very nice job dude ... very nice

  • just can't stop watching this...

  • :) Thx!

  • Thank you very much!

  • Brilliant. I can't help but visualize this in the background of a movie, playing to some innocent scene. Very Knopfler.

  • Thx! =)

  • man that has to be one of the mosy beautiful originals ive ever heard. what kind of amp are you using?

  • Thank You!

I think i have used the Guitar Port of Line 6...direct into my Pc...

  • beautiful. nice tone you got there

  • Where's the twang bar?

  • That's it, I'm buying Lace Sensors! :D

    Thank you so much!

  • whats the price of your fender???

  • great job .Hows you liking those hot golds? did you get the hot 13.2 bridge?

  • I haven't heard the hot golds, this are only the normal golds.

  • hey do you get the G STRING Warble while the guitar has distortion?

  • beginning sounds like "hearts burst into fire"

  • yeh i agree, a bit. still, not bad. now you just need to make a kickass drum riff, a bass part, mabi a rythm guitar and a face melting solo. *thnx jack black* and your headin for rock stardom.

  • that was one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard.

    thank you, and nice job

  • what kind of amp did you this through

and did u use any pedals

  • why arent you using a pick?

  • he was fingerpicking.

  • dude could i have a download with just the music

  • that's tone baby

  • Damn, i wish i was as good with my strat.

  • i saw comments saying thats a clapton song well they think that because it is so good keep one writing songs u are amazing

  • nevermind about that last comment

do you have the sheet music to this song that you could possibly send me by chance?

    it would really be appreciated

    love the song

  • Hey, thx!

Sorry, but i don't have any sheets if this song.

  • hey man great playin!

what song by clapton is this?

  • Thats no song from Clapton!

  • Like Eric Clapton's guitar awesome tone man keep rocking!

  • Everyone says i'm too bad with guitar players 'cause i hate crap soundin' and... Yeah, that's true but NOT THIS TIME!!!

AWESOME MAN. GOOD PLAYIN'. KEEP ROCKIN'!!!

  • and also are you using a pedal what kind?

  • Its played through a Line6 Guitar Port direct to Pc...no Amp, no Pedals...:)

  • wow man that was really good man what kind of amp are you using this is awesome

  • wow, its a beautiful song

  • Hum cancelling pickups right ? So , do you keep the special strat sound with that kind of pickups ?

  • I would say, that these are very low noise Pickups, yes...and you really keep the Strat Tone with them, they are Single Coils!

Look at some Clapton Videos of the 90's...he used these Pickups!

  • clapton used fender noiseless pickups not the lace sensors

  • No he used lace sensors untill recently when he switched over to the vintage noiseless pickups

  • nice riffage man. i just got an american strat myself. love it.

  • I have American Standard 2008.

  • Clapton uses the twin amp and the lace sensors gold too!!!! Great choice. Maybe a Signature strat?:P Joke

  • srry wrong video

  • lol

  • amazing dude!!! Can you give me the tab please?

  • wow. sounds like bells. is this with your fender twin? and whats the chorus?

  • Thx! No that is not played with my Twin.

Its played through a Line6 Guitar Port.

  • wow. nice tone!

  • dude, check out my video jamming a song on clean with delay on my MIM fender strat with lace sensors: red, silver and blue.

  • oh wow thats a beautiful composition =D, look forward to seeing more =D.

    ~Jayson

  • good playing, dont know how you made that song cuz its amazing

  • wow, beautiful :)))) you're realy goooood

  • i cant believe u made that u r a great song writter keep up the good work and amazing pick ups

  • Thanks very much!

  • great.Lovely sound well done, and thanks for taking the trouble.regards and respect.

  • hey, Fibson86, could you tell me what effects you're using for this song? running it straight into the amp or playing it through a stompbox/processor?

i'm planning to buy lace sensors and i need to know exactly what they sound like...

    thanks...

  • thats a chorus effect, it sounds very different without it

  • Good playing on strat play it through a marshall or a hywatt

I play a squier affinity strat red version

    are u using a pod

    nice fender good pickups

  • sounds like iris by the goo goo dolls. nice.

  • actually the very beginning sound like far away by that nickelback group

  • thats what i thought right away when i heard the opening lol

  • Maybe it sounds like Nickelback, but not like Iris! =)

  • oh yeahhhh dur.. i got em mixed up.... =D STILL NICE!

  • Lace sensors ARE all that you're trying to say. I'd recommend a silver one at the neck, it has even more of the "strat" sound to it. I love the golds, I have a ten-year old Clapton sig, and they are great.

I think the demo would have been better with no chorus, but still, good tune.

  • arg i mean hard rock hall of fame

  • Thank You! =)

  • there a reason why the strat is the mascot for the hard rock caffe and pickured in most learning books

  • how much do those pick ups cost?

  • They can be found at $130-$140 for the set of 3.

Well worth the price in my opinion :)

  • Man these pickups sound fantastic! Have you been satisfied with them?

  • Yes i am satisfied! =)

  • 5 stars from finland. I can't see which pickup you're using...

  • I'm using Fender Lace Sensor Gold Pu's!

  • well yeah the reason i found this movie was that i wanted to hear the lace sensors and in the description it says gold...i meant neck, bridge or middle.

  • Ah, okay...=)

Here i use the Neck and Middle Pickup!

  • don't watch - listen ;)

I'd say it's the neck PU...

  • is that guitar red or black?

  • Wine-red!

  • Very nice song. Made me feel melancholy, like after a breakup.

  • 5 stars from MoRoCCO !!!! & favorited...

    XD°°°

  • Thx very much!

  • 5 stars from france

  • das hört sich voll toll an *seufz* :)

  • buddy those pickups are sweet, its so clean sounding, how much is a set of those pickups?

  • lace sensor golds are about $150-180 for the set. somewhere in there.

  • hey man i was just wondering if you just had an instrumental version of this (and Longer)

i just really like the sound

  • nice sound.

  • Thx!

  • Nice, but sounds too much like nickelback's far away

  • I was thinking with arms wide open by Creed. lol Good tone though

  • haha i just thought of that one

    yea GREAT tone

  • fuckin awsim//you ROCK

  • i agree the the box guy

  • Great job! But that last chord has to resolve up. Musically, its awkward to end on it.

  • Beautiful sweet playing. Thanks!

  • Great =)

  • Should i take drum lessons or guitar lessons

  • Do, what's more interesting to you!

  • DRUMS!!!!!!!! there too many guitarists and not enough drummers lol

  • both!!

  • Both! You don't want to be a guitarist without rhythm like me!

  • this is great :O way better than my own compositions

  • dude makie some tabs we wanna learn it well i do that was sweet!

  • but nayway nice song man its beautiful,,not to sound like a fag but its pretty chill

  • dude some squiers are actually really good,,,,a lot of the new ones are 6 thousand dollars you have no idea of any guitars lychfan666

  • squiers are crap if u want good, get fender

  • not realy its how you play the guitar that counts for example expression

  • whats the difference between squier strat and fender strat?

  • fender makes squier. squier is just a cheaper model with lower quality, electronics, woods, and usually u automatically need to replace the tuners. i personally would save up some money and get a fender mexican or fender american. the difference between those is one is made in mexico and the other in the u.s. both r good but the american is usually better in all the areas

  • yea my fenders have lasted me a while and they are really reliable

  • lol ya. idk a single person who doesn't love their strat or tele

  • my strat and my tele have lasted me for years i got my first strat at five full sized and i still have it and i take good care of it

  • squier has mojo and fender do not...i like mojo so that is why i own a squier. i guess the song is name appropriate cause now he know how awful he is.

  • ... Have you played a real fender before?

  • no why should i?

  • Because then you'd know how much mojo Fender has compared to Squier. But hey, if it makes you happy, I guess it's a lot more economical to like Squier over Fender. :D

  • have u ever play a fender and a squier? fender feel like u have to baby it by putting it on ur bed and not let anyone touch it and u worry if it get scratches on the pick guard while squiers has that old comfy feel to it that u don't mind taking it with u anywhere. u know thats true so that is why squiers has the homey feel to it.

  • Like... The guitarrist of my band owns a fender... And He likes much more the fender than the squier...

  • because he just want people to think he is rich....i want people to think i am cheap

  • No that's not true... The fender was given to him when he did his birthday... After that he played on a Squier and he likes the Fender a lot more... I don't know if it is by the fact that is a birthday gift or the sound's better... That's why I came to youtube to see the diferences...

  • Yeah, I have. I played a Squier as my first guitar. I started to hate it after a while, but I guess it wasn't so bad. I moved on to what I have now, which is a Highway One Stratocaster. It has a really fast neck, jumbo frets, and a paintjob that is supposed to get scratched, so while I am nice to it, I don't mind if it catches a few scratches here or there. It has awesome tone, too (though I was planning on changing the pickups to Lace Sensors like this guy has).

  • if you ever played a squier bullet like i have, not the affinity ones but bullet model, they are a wet dream come true if you set it up correctly and play it on a tube amp like i do, mate.

  • Of Course you have to baby a fender. There not really cheap and a squier is and thats why its got that home feeling to it if you break one of those you can just buy a new peice of crap one. While with a fender you have to save up. But Fenders are way better, Sound better and are more durable. Oh And Fender Makes Squires so there you go.

  • I have a gorgeous strat but i'm not fussed if it gets dinged up. That's a sign of use, and it SOUNDS so much better than a squier and that's what counts.

  • I agree. Instruments are made to be played, and not be babied like crystal ornaments. Dings just add character, and my P Bass has its share of them. Fenders definitely sound better than a Squiers.

  • dude u need to make tabs. so many ppl like this song

  • That is so nice and relaxing, really nice work :)
