I have a 54 strat body with a 57 neck. Lace Sensor Holy Grails and the Clapton mid-boost circuit. Sweet strat tone with the ability to thicken up to near Les Paul tone. Anywho, nice tone there dude
1st:: Very nice song; it would be a great bed for some lyrics. 2nd: I'm a Lace fan, and yours is probably the best demo of the golds I've heard. Lots of pickups can scream, grind and crunch. Cean, however, they ain't got it. Lace have so much throughout the spectrum, it's almost a shame to distort the sound. But, if you dial them in, they can scream with an almost human voice. Great choice: Perfect for a budding songwriter. Now, please, buy a rhyming dictionary and get to work on some lyrics.
Looks like you're using a thumb pick. Is it a Fred Kelly? Nice sounds - I am looking to buy a Strat with Lace Sensors - that's why I'm watching this. I use thumbpicks too. Now I play a Gretch mostly, but I want a Strat. A red one - like yours!
I have some lace sensors i just bought...im trying to figure out how to slove the humming problem with my guitar...but im doing some satch covers...check them out if you want to in about a week.....
Very nice ring and tone on the pickups, dude... I am wondering witch pu's to purchase for my US-Strat. I already have one with a EMG DG20 pickup set on, and I am very satisfied with that setup. -Tnx for this nice post Fibson86
@newschoolguitar: lace sensors have different types or 'colors', they are noiseless compared to conventional pickups. Gold ones give a fat 50s single coil strat sound. Silver for 70s sounds and all sorts of other colours. I have a silver, silver, blue lace sensor combo in my strat. best pickups ive ever heard. I personally think its better than fender's custom shop pickups.
Really like your style, what's with all these lace sensor pickups? lol i've never heard of them before, they sound really nice though, i think i'll go check them out. nice playing. :)
Nice. Reminds me of "Purple Rain" era Prince and the Revolution music. Is Prince an influence on your music? "Purple Rain" would sound right on your guitar. Not sure but what guitar it was recorded on tho? Wendy's Ric? But did it have Ric pickups in it? Or on Princes weird German guitar?
It's decent, but it's to obvious. You are playing the chords of each note of the major scale in a descending way. This makes it very obvious (eg, I know which chord you will switch to next before you do it).
yeh i agree, a bit. still, not bad. now you just need to make a kickass drum riff, a bass part, mabi a rythm guitar and a face melting solo. *thnx jack black* and your headin for rock stardom.
Lace sensors ARE all that you're trying to say. I'd recommend a silver one at the neck, it has even more of the "strat" sound to it. I love the golds, I have a ten-year old Clapton sig, and they are great.
I think the demo would have been better with no chorus, but still, good tune.
well yeah the reason i found this movie was that i wanted to hear the lace sensors and in the description it says gold...i meant neck, bridge or middle.

No that's not true... The fender was given to him when he did his birthday... After that he played on a Squier and he likes the Fender a lot more... I don't know if it is by the fact that is a birthday gift or the sound's better... That's why I came to youtube to see the diferences...
Yeah, I have. I played a Squier as my first guitar. I started to hate it after a while, but I guess it wasn't so bad. I moved on to what I have now, which is a Highway One Stratocaster.
