But when I said to someone yesterday that without slavery, descendants of slaves would be naked in the African bush without an iPod (they mentioned iPods and laptops), they blasted me with how rich Africa is, with GOLD, and KINGS - not sure where you'd find all that. It's all about the glass half-full or half-empty. Lots of half-empty thinkers out there. Give me the half-full glass anyday!
