Thanks for the video,
I have an Ozuku Kiita (lv 5+ hardness) and I also have a Norton 4k/8k and a chinese 12k.
should I still use my other hones? I am a little confused what to do with the progressions.
your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Dan

@PizzaCakeSteak you can try going from the 8k Norton to Ozuko with slurry, but the edge off the 8k should be really shave ready. If that does not work you will need to add one more stone between to make things easier.

@mainaman yes 8k edge is "shavable" I would not call it shave ready thats why I bought a jnat!!
so which slurry should I use after the 8k? should I jump to tomo nagura?
@PizzaCakeSteak yes try tomonagura slurry if it does not work well you will need to add a 10-12k stone between.
What stone is that Maxim? is that an Ozuku?

@PizzaCakeSteak I am not Maksim, the stone is indeed an Ozuko.
