I agree that the Strokes revitalized the music scene, but saying they're the best band is bizarre. And remember that the White Stripes went big at the same time, as did other similar bands.

I find TWS more exciting. If you've listened to a lot of their songs, you'll realize they're quite dynamic. Strokes are formulaic, but still great.
