I have an iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 baseband 06.15.00 I am getting error code 1015, when. I tried what you said and it said i cannot use this firmware (4.1) because it is not compatible with this phone. You said we have to be in DFU mode, I am not sure if thats the mode I'm in, screen that says connect to itunes, i think that might be recovery, but if it is then how do I get to DFU mode and if I already am then how do I get past it saying not compatible. Hi, I am able to restore my iPhone 3G from 4.2.1 to 4.1. But now i'm not able to update to 4.2.1 using redsn0w 6b5. Each time the device goes into DFU mode, some processing happens and I get a "Done" message on the redsn0w screen but nothing happens on the phone. It just remains stuck on the blank screen.

@sebvideo11 I have the same problem as you, but i have a 3g. because the update is for the 3g and 3gs i guess this will work for both. if it doesn't, musclenerd is releasing around christmas the way to go back to the iphone's original baseband.
