Really, you liked Folie a Deux more than From Under the Cork Tree? Personally I think Folie a Deux was their weakest album and this being one of there best with some of their wittiest lyrics, catchiest rhythms and some of the most intricate vocal trickery (though I'd really have to look at Infinity on High for that).

All the albums had a distinct sound that carried throughout, and for me Folie a Deux just didn't manage to recreate that. Everyone to their own...

Take this to Your Grave is their best (tie slightly with From Under the Cork Tree which is also pretty epic). As for Folie a Deux, it's an upgrade of Infinity on High, with catchier tunes and better lyrics.

I've since come around on the album as a whole, though I maintain it has some of their weakest lyrical content, particularly "She's My Winona" which is my least favourite song from their entire catalogue.

Although it's all opinion and perspective. It's a very good album structurally, in it's genre. The "pop-rock" landscape is a bleak place these days, I think.
