I'm not sure WHY people are getting their knickers in a twist about this. I've been around countless bunnies, and in a bunny sanctuary around where I live, and a friend of mine owns a barn where they have bunnies..I have seen LOTS of people hold their bunnies like this, and then a dog barks or something and they mostly just open their eyes and wiggle a bit and get on their feet, look around for the source of the noise...since that makes more sense to a prey animal than to just jump. Seriously.

IT'S THUMPER!! no but seriously, last August around the 29th, my chocolate lab was sniffing an area and i saw her open her mouth trying to get something,so i went towards her and found out it was a baby bunny (the one in the vid looks around the same size and color!!) we found out later that she punctured its side with her teeth, but it healed within a few days :) ...we took it in b/c it gets really cold during the nights and it could have easily froze to death

why in the world would you hold your baby bunny like that ? im sure when they're sleeping on their own they have all 4 feet on the ground not up in the air . you need to treat your hands as a platform for them . yeah it might be cute to do that, but god forbid your bunny is frightened for some reason or there's a loud noise . he'll jump up in startlement and risk breaking his back . where as if he's laying on all fours he'll just slightly jump up .
