I always think of when Vash is sitting in bed and remembers everything at once when I hear this song. Wolfwood's passing, killing Legato, Meryl and Milly unconscious on the ground. God I love this music and show. <3
Lol, I see these types of comments all the time, so I'll do one too! Arf!
"6 people watch Live-Action shows and not anime" <--- Actually, that comment sucked, I'm never doing another like that... but seriously, who dislikes this! This is one of the most soothing sounds I've heard other than the soundtrack for FF7 and Clannad
I've always thought that the passing of the cross from Wolfwood to Vash had more meaning than the ending battle. Wolfwood wanted forgiveness for his sins. For killing. All along he had held that cross, a heavy burden on his back. The burden of taking a life. The cross was passed, right after Vash killed his first human being, with his own hand. The choice was too much to bare for Vash at the time. It was either shoot, or have everyone suffer. However, Vash moved on. Even after his sin.
wanna know why there aren't too many dislikes? Because only awesome people watch Trigun, and only awesome people who watched Trigun would be looking up the awesome OST. Thus the rare result in random non-awesome people finding the song and disliking it.
It's amazing how one song cane trigger so many emotions, and make one feel. i love the song and the anime associated with it. Trigun one of the best animes out there.
It's really too bad vash is the one getting the blame for deaths and crimes he didn't commit which his evil twin brother did. I always wonder where did they first find them. It explains vash and knives are aliens but it never explained how they found them Though it showed a quick flash back of them in these test tube pods in a ship as infants and before the crew was gonna shoot them rem stopped them
@MAXIMUMGODZILLA45 Actually, it is explained where they came from. They're not aliens, they're 'plants' like power plants. They were created on the SEEDS ship Rem was on. (although the crew didn't create them in test tubes or anything)
The first thing this song makes me think of is the part where Vash finally tells Meryl the truth about everything. For some reason I found that little moment to be rather powerful. The music set to all the different scenes from Vash's life just fit so well, and then he just leaves Meryl standing there in shock.
as this song speaks to the mind it breaks down your heart and strengthens your soul can u feel it. can u feel the pain and happiness as the same time magical isnt it see.
Trigun was an absolutely beautiful anime. I have a lot of friends who very much enjoy anime but have never seen this show, which is crazy to me because I don't even like anime all that much but this show grabbed my interest. There were so many different aspects to it as well as life lessons. There were parts that could make you cry both out of happiness and sadness. Not many shows can do that.
This song is incredibly powerful, and depressing. It sounds as if it's saying that the world is an absolutely terrible place, and that no good ever comes of anything, but that we keep going because we have no other option. For that reason I like and respect this song, but can't listen to it.
@TheVentusVanitas So anyone who doesn't get high is cool? He drinks in insane amounts though, which can't be good for your health. Not to mention, the Japanese has a wicked view on weed.
@Torkan91 it isnt just about health here.. alchool ad weed just makes you ignore reality. you drink/smoke it just for you to change the view about life..wich will last for a few hours..still useless :)
@megapixzl hahaha i wanted to finally hear this full song when i just watched the episode when vash woke up after he killed the blue hair guy (i always forget his effin name)

@howlbigbadwolf Yeah well, I disagree with myself now afterwards saying that it's the best anime ever. Actually I'd say that Cowboy bebop is better. It's still one of the best like you said tho. After I read the manga (that was so much better) I felt a little bit disappointed :) Hopefully they will make a remake following the manga with todays animations and I can only say AUWGDAYWDGYAWDAPÖ:DDDD if they would do that.

After reading the Trigun manga I thought it was so much better than the anime (even if the anime is good). @MalachiteR Truth to be told, Cowboy bebop's story isnt anything awesome..wats grand in it is the ambience...the characters...and the unearthly music...to me at least, Cowboy bebop is magnificient not for what the story says but rather how it is said!
@Torkan91 i think it actually ties in with Cowboy Bebop. both animes have this deep storyline that just draws the viewer in. two of my top fav animes actually. Outlaw Star and Tenchi Muyo following shortly behind with DBZ following Tenchi.

This reminds me of when Brad dies and when in the episode where a sandsteamer crashes in to a radio station and Vash shouts to a man thats about to kill someone "DONT KILL HIM" so awsome scene!!
