@sirach Shunning of Covenant-breakers is far deeper than what most people think. The purpose of the Baha'i Faith is oneness of mankind, if some one is trying to create divisions and schisms in the faith they must be stopped. When someone on a soccer team keeps kicking own goals you remove them from the team because they are against you really. Baha'is are still told to love and pray for these people, but we are also asked to refrain from associating with them for the protection of the Faith

Baha'is are not prejudice towards homosexuals, but the same way it is a law that we dont drink, we dont do drugs and so we cannot practice homosexuality. There is no scientific evidence that people are born gay, science feels and urgency to always have a answers to the worlds questions and in doing so they will always come up with something. Same concept can be used when people thought the world was flat.

@sirach there is no objection to women being in he UHJ it is just a rumor that has been spread to make Bahaism more ugly the simple fact is that no women has been on the UHJ not that they are not allowed.

what about baha'i doctrine that teaches moral opposition to homosexuality. That also seems counter to the Baha'i Spirit, and hypocritical.

wrong. you sound like you are sincerely interested in learning more about the Faith of Baha'u'llah so i want to sincerely help with what ever i can bring to you table to help us both understand.

Baha'u'llah, AbdulBaha, and the Guardian all wrote and spoke majorly about breaking the Covenant. They all said to shun breakers of the Covenant. Reform Bahai Faith doesn't exist BTW, the cheesehead Fredrick Glaysher is having a ball of a time playing head honcho
