@Raklryja Oh. Well, about that. Spore's design environment is very basic and doesn't include an awareness of physical limitation. Something like this probably has support for physically-aware design tools that are just as easy to use.

@Raklryja architecture isn't easy, you aren't an architect if you can use spore's vehicle-editor etc.

A building does not only require a 'cool' form..

It requires a solution for a comfortable, functional, structural and environmental house with a limited budget.

(btw: the designprograms for architects doesn't calculate, it's only a way to show the concept.)

depends what kind of architecture. do you want to go corporate or do you really care about design? if you are interested in architectural theory or want to work for the top firms, it is advised to attend graduate school

probably 3d max, but sketchup is reasonable for animation - failing a lack of 3d max skills you may want to try rhino4, but 3d max has much better animation tools... gl

Actually, I'm pretty sure that it's "CityEngine, just like the other videos in this guys profile. Showing off the variations in building looks all using the same shapes.
