I have JW's at my door pretty regular. We are one block from the local Kingdom Hall. I don't know why they keep coming back. They know we area a Born Again family. I have told many of them they are a very "Contradictory" religion. They DO NOT believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ; they DO NOT believe in the Holy Trinity, YET, they study from the 'TRINITARIAN' King James Bible, as well as their own 'interpretation', NWT, which is SO twisted. I find this very contradictory.

The JWs have their own Bible New World Tranlsation. The JWs also read every other Bible you can think of as much like in Acts we are told to check the translations and then make up your mind. Not really sure where you are going with your comments here BD0909, but if you do some History research into the JW's, Charles Taze Russell, their FOUNDER, robbed Jesus Christ of Deity, and every president since has followed suit. True Bible Scholars, that I have researched, consider the NWT a BLATANT INSULT to THE WORD OF GOD. I have 2 copies, and I agree. Smitty to be honest I have been in contact with a few denominations. I came from an occult background as my parents are witches. Coming into Christianity and being new to it, i can see both sides of the story. However with all the money the churches have I dont understand why they dont go back and just re-do another translation from the originals. The fact they wont do it only makes me believe the NWT of John 1:1. The debate could easity be solved and souls saved but churches r too rich 2 care

BD0909, I was just trying to figure what denomimation you might belong, with your current belief's. There is one Christian denom. I know of that hold's your belief's. We have one here it's called United Pentecostal. Wonderful folks. I knew the former pastor well. Our boys were best of friends. Ed was raised ONENESS, which is basically what JW's are. With respect to your concern about 'translation', GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART. I believe if we TRULY SEEK HIM, HE "WILL" lead us into the TRUTH He wants us in. I have total faith in K.J., N.A.S.V., Amplified, and a few others, so these are the bibles I study from. I have to trust my God has me where He wants me, and you have to do the same. I'm pretty confident we are ALL in for a big surprise when Jesus comes back for HIS church though. I think we are ALL in for some correcting. :-}

Smitty it seems crazy to disobey God in what he says in Acts to keep re-checking scripture. We can all have faith and a sincere heart, but can we obey the teachings of Christ and the commandments God set down for us. To be honest I think only a 144,000 thousand people in humanities history will know how to do that, if the book of rev is anything to go by. I will look united pentecostal up.
