I've heard about Richard's classes, and I would imagine they'd be expensive. What a shame!

But voice actors suggest you do musical theater if you want to be a voice actor-which I already do! (:

600 dollars per class is a lot! It doesn't look like I'm taking a class anytime soon! :) That's pretty cool about the musical theater! That is totally not my thing! I'm more into art.

Yeah, I did see your account pic. That's pretty good! It would be really cool to go into animation! Pixar would be a great choice! Their animation style is very original and lifelike, while still looking cartoonish. (if that makes any sense) :)

This was Kyle's first interview and he had very little time to prepare. Also as a huge fan of Richard he was very nervous. Considering this I thought he did quite well. Even he admits he could be better and has since has used this experience to improve his interviewing technique.

Give the guy a break; he was nervous. Interviewing is an art form and it isn't easy. Like all art forms/skills, it takes a lot of practice. Perhaps Kyle Evans has improved over the last 18 months.

Thanks Ozzman500, Kyle has indeed improved. This was his first time interviewing someone, and it happened to be someone he was a huge fan of and has great respect for. So of course he was very nervous; the short prep time didn't help either. Personally I was disapointed but also relieved I couldn't interview Richard at the time he was available.

It was my pleasure. I like watching interviews that pertain to my interests and I've realized that interviewing is a skill. Plus, I've done video projects that involved interviewing so I have at least an inkling of what's like. I've never interviewed a voice actor but I can imagine how I'd be if I interviewed Mr. Horvitz or (one of my voice heros) Rob Paulsen. No one starts out being excellent. It takes time and practice.
