Right. This is sexism in its purist state. Star Trek is a classic TV show that was years ahead of its time in terms of how it handled civil rights issues. It has developed an enormous and almost-religiously dedicated fan base. When JJ agreed to reboot it he should have made Kirk, Spock, and McCoy women. Staying true to the original series is outrageously sexist and insulting to women everywhere.

This Star Trek movie almost seemed to be targeting a female audience, with all the hot men on these ships. *laughs* I can't say I am complaining though, since I am included in this group of ladies who thoroughly enjoyed the eye candy. Especially Spock, who I must say, is as dashing as always.
