I really wouldn't put her around children. Although I might not have a choice because she might just flip the fuck out and try to kill me if I didn't.
could someone please explain me why the robot has legs and walks around inside another robot, that also has legs. was that someones idea of a joke? :p
starwars was introdused in 1977. This was 1981, released in 86 in the uk i think. Watch them. \all episodes are copies from differnt things before that time. Making this an all round better program
Must Have been Star Wars surely. George Lucas wanted them to be using swords as like a symbol of an older more honorable time, but futurist because it was an age of lazer guns, so it became a blade made of white hot light :O
So it was combining the myths of Old, I guess in Ulysses 31 the creators obviously thought that was cool and adopt it. Im glad they did , I love Ulysses' Gun Saber Idea :D
@alexbaxthedarkside The Star Wars influence is very obvious here alright- just listen to the sound - you can clearly hear an R2-D2 beep in Nono at roughly 5:10. About 7:55 there's a tune very similar to the Star Wars tune when there's a battle. Plus you can hear the same sound effect as a Tie-fighter whizzing by everytime the Hydra moves to attack. but what's wrong with that, it was all the rage in the day
@gigoer that's just using Star Wars sound effects, doesn't mean the show copied the formula. The Japanese were doing sci-fi like this well before SW was ever invented.
@somethinglacking1 Fair enough my friend, but I wasn't accusing anyone of plaigurism or anything like that, I was just referring to the influences of sci-fi of the time. I was admiring it as well as fondly remembering it, that's all. I also thought another episode of Ulysses was influenced (but not necessarily copied) by the first Alien movie. They don't make them like they used to....
Ships in this show are awesome, they just got that something to them. Maybe it's the fact they change shape depenting on action/separate into smaller ones etc.

H-hey, why Telemacus call his father 'Ulysses'?
Aedua 3 years ago
it's the greek version of odysseus
JuliusX9 2 years ago
I know that.
But children don't usually call their parents by their names.
Aedua 2 years ago
Yes, you are right but I wasn't really surprised by it.
Maybe it slipped from Telemacus lips without any intention?
