  • I really wouldn't put her around children. Although I might not have a choice because she might just flip the fuck out and try to kill me if I didn't.

  • Yes lets take our retarded kids with us to the unexplored planet.

  • @TheSquidPro

    WITCH: Children!?!

    KID:..please don't touch me...

  • Thanks for uploading. Ulyses (Matt Berman) has such a reassuring voice.

  • thanks 4 the upload..this series is one of my fav..hope you got more vintage anime..keep up the good work.

  • Nono takes so much abuse in this episode.

  • that witch is a bitch

  • lmao @ 1:20 he's so slow and stupid

  • always loved the fact that their shadows were still running

  • DAMN THAT WAS CREEPY WHEN I FIRST SAW IT, HOLY MACREL :O

was so freakin cool looking back on it :) :) :)

  • could someone please explain me why the robot has legs and walks around inside another robot, that also has legs. was that someones idea of a joke? :p

  • And why people who have legs walks around on the back on a horse which have legs too ?

  • Oh sorry i forgot about Sinbad. Hehe

  • Even the computer is like Space Odysee and the music is Star Wars/Starsky and Hutch. Great fun. I love it. Thanks again Kitty

  • starwars was introdused in 1977. This was 1981, released in 86 in the uk i think. Watch them. \all episodes are copies from differnt things before that time. Making this an all round better program

  • what was first ulysses light sabre or those from starwars?

  • Must Have been Star Wars surely. George Lucas wanted them to be using swords as like a symbol of an older more honorable time, but futurist because it was an age of lazer guns, so it became a blade made of white hot light :O

So it was combining the myths of Old, I guess in Ulysses 31 the creators obviously thought that was cool and adopt it. Im glad they did , I love Ulysses' Gun Saber Idea :D

  • @alexbaxthedarkside The Star Wars influence is very obvious here alright- just listen to the sound - you can clearly hear an R2-D2 beep in Nono at roughly 5:10. About 7:55 there's a tune very similar to the Star Wars tune when there's a battle. Plus you can hear the same sound effect as a Tie-fighter whizzing by everytime the Hydra moves to attack. but what's wrong with that, it was all the rage in the day

  • @gigoer that's just using Star Wars sound effects, doesn't mean the show copied the formula. The Japanese were doing sci-fi like this well before SW was ever invented.

  • @somethinglacking1 Fair enough my friend, but I wasn't accusing anyone of plaigurism or anything like that, I was just referring to the influences of sci-fi of the time. I was admiring it as well as fondly remembering it, that's all. I also thought another episode of Ulysses was influenced (but not necessarily copied) by the first Alien movie. They don't make them like they used to....

  • so casual and relaxed when flying around lol

  • btw 'Ulysses' is actually the latin for the greek name Odysseus....

    ;)

  • Awesome.....

  • the music is cool

  • I want that lander

  • Ships in this show are awesome, they just got that something to them. Maybe it's the fact they change shape depenting on action/separate into smaller ones etc.

  • Agreed. I like the futuristic designs for this.

  • H-hey, why Telemacus call his father 'Ulysses'?

  • it's the greek version of odysseus

  • I know that.

But children don't usually call their parents by their names.

  • Yes, you are right but I wasn't really surprised by it.

Maybe it slipped from Telemacus lips without any intention?

  • man i'm glad you posted this, great childhood memories!! Thanks

  • @asgardreien it's also much better than the crap kids are watchin today

  • Thanks so much for these, hope you can keep posting more...the music is so amazing ;0

  • hey! note the disco star wars music 07:50!!

  • I forgot how they explain everything in old cartoons for us; dumb children. ;)
