I'm sort of new here, and have only watched two of your videos in the sidebar on shockofgod, but all he is doing is quote mining, pull things out of context and making bold assertions with no evidence. If there is a God, he is in shock over the falsehood of schockofgod. Why it is that Christians think that they can "bear false-witness" against others, lie and still enter the "kingdom of God", I'll never understand.

@debbieomi there are incidents in the Bible that can be demonstrated to be true historically; however the bible does give an editorialized version of the truth (for example King Manasseh is HATED for allowing polytheism, BUT that policy helped keep the peace and prevent invasions & insurrections). BUT that certainly doesn't mean everything in the Bible happened the way a bunch of bronze-age shepherds thought it did .....

(I.e. even cave paintings often seem to portray some hunting event that happened at one time or other, and so are "historical fact".)

Example

If you want to claim that X is a fairytale, i.e. fiction, you need to back it up with evidence.

Where X = {The Iliad, Hamlet, The Shining, The Koran, War and Peace, ...}
