  • I'm sort of new here, and have only watched two of your videos in the sidebar on shockofgod, but all he is doing is quote mining, pull things out of context and making bold assertions with no evidence. If there is a God, he is in shock over the falsehood of schockofgod. Why it is that Christians think that they can "bear false-witness" against others, lie and still enter the "kingdom of God", I'll never understand.

  • @IntelligentProbe "I'm sort of new here, and have only watched two of your videos in the sidebar on shockofgod, but all he is doing is quote mining, pull things out of context and making bold assertions with no evidence"

Well, for being new, I think you've got a good handle on things...

  • This is so F***** brilliant!!!!!!

  • @Alexman208GR "This is so F***** brilliant!!!!!!"

    Why thank you.

  • shockofgod=fountain of hypocrisy

  • there's history in the bible, therefore it's true.

using that logic, The Epic of Gilgamesh, Bhagavad gita, and Doctor Who are also true.

  • I think the water SOG uses to make his koolaid has too much lead and flouride in it ; )

  • "Even atheists admit the bible is actual history."

I didn't get the newsletter that advertised the vote on this. WTF?

  • @debbieomi there are incidents in the Bible that can be demonstrated to be true historically; however the bible does give an editorialized version of the truth (for example King Manasseh is HATED for allowing polytheism, BUT that policy helped keep the peace and prevent invasions & insurrections). BUT that certainly doesn't mean everything in the Bible happened the way a bunch of bronze-age shepherds thought it did .....

  • Wow. What a deluded moron..

All we can hope for is for their followers to give themselves at least an inch of curiosity that would begin to challenge their believe system. You can't stay in fantasy land forever

  • Science prooves nothing ..

  • @Nederdien thank you. Proof is a mathimatical concept.

  • @Nederdien you're right, it doesn't, it explains things

  • Shockofgod is no longer a person who deserves a spotlight position in the discussion about god. It's better to either ignore him or expose him for fraud like website phishing.

  • Did shockofgod use the pee wee herman argument of "I know you are but what am I"?

  • @thorspower "Did shockofgod use the pee wee herman argument of "I know you are but what am I"?"

Apparently. Now if he ever sees this video regarding his hypocrisy, he might say "I meant to do that."

  • Psychological projection seems to be a heavily reoccurring characteristic of creationists here on YouTube.

  • uh...ya...the bible's true and science is fairy tales. And if you don't believe Shock, just fly a plane above the clouds and visit God sitting on his throne in heaven looking down on us. And while we're there, look up at the water between heaven and our sun (which the bible says is there), and look down to see all the 4 corners of the world at once (which the bible says you can). And while you're there, take note of the moon - which according to the bible, radiates it's own light.

  • Another Christard oozing irony from every pore. Ugh.

  • @AuntieDiluvian "Another Christard oozing irony from every pore. Ugh."

They seem to be in no short supply....

  • LOOL

  • lol

  • Even atheists admit the bible is actual history? He really said that?

  • @adrenacrumb He is inflating the fact that there is a tiny bit of Jewish cultural history thrown in -- which is as verifiable and useful as any history taken from ancient writing. (I.e. even cave paintings often seem to portray some hunting event that happened at one time or other, and so are "historical fact".)

  • @AtheistdotEDU On that basis I can admit Harry Potter is historically accurate as well.

  • @adrenacrumb Precisely. Harry Potter would not be useful as a literal history, but to help to understand what life is like in a British boarding school, or for modern children in England, or as an expression of what modern children enjoy, it would be useful, historically speaking. All art has some historical resonance and "truth" in it.

  • @AtheistdotEDU Yes, I went to 2 english boarding schools and i can say that the barry trotter books are basically a watered down version of my experiences - they had to leave out the half animal sex slaves to make it suitable for a wider audience.

  • @adrenacrumb "Even atheists admit the bible is actual history? He really said that?"

Yes....I'm still trying to understand that one.

  • (2)Faith (in imaginary invisible friends) = PSYCHOSIS=Severe mental illness [brain-infection with "Alien"(Trinities)] Interestingly, this Alien syndicate"opens" the brain to :

  • (1)Theophilic People with incurable Christ-psychosis are disturbed and they are disturbing. The distorted GYRI of their faith-infected brains harbor several ALIENS such as two invisible Trinities, Heavenly Father and his son Christus[=anointed] within the matrix of the Holy Spirit, and the adversary Triple, BéélzeBOOB, LuXXééBear[er] and SahTahnAss. HOW can anyone ever assume that a human brain would NOT be seriously affected if and when it harbors such a heavy Yoke of insanity?

  • Awesome video, CrazyPills :D

I was Laughing Out Loud (Yea, I spelled it out) for most of it. I wish he would just go away, because even most Christians would probably say this guy is nuts.

  • @BrellK "Awesome video, CrazyPills :D"

    Thanks. I too LOLd...spelled out.

  • Maybe if we ignore him he'll go away.

    Maybe not.

  • Soggy is just a one trick pony dressed in a troll costume.

  • This video was a waste of time...

  • @Zentz29 "This video was a waste of time..."

    Much like your comment? :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @Zentz29 "Also much like your response to my comment."

    You're pretty quick witted :-)

  • Brain...going...to...ex...plode!!!

  • @TomMSTie "Brain...going...to...ex...plod e!!!"

    I feel ya brotha.

  • SoG's claim that if you want to call the Bible a book of fairytales you need to back it up with evidence works on any book/story.

    Example

If you want to claim that X is a fairytale, i.e. fiction, you need to back it up with evidence.

    Where X = {The Iliad, Hamlet, The Shining, The Koran, War and Peace, ...}

The evidence, SoG, that the Bible is myth and not fact are the incredible and unverified stories that exist within.

  • I know you are but what am I.

These Biblical Literalist Fundamentalists are so pathetic. I think we pay them more attention than they are worth.

    Their stupidity is exhausting.

  • I love it when someone gets owned simply by repeating their own words back at them. I believe the term is "self - pwnage."

    Nicely done.

  • @Ansonidak "Nicely done."

    Why thank you....

  • Richard Dawkins pointed out that even scientists are sometimes inconsistent. I say the tendency is human. But the inconsistency in shockofgod's thoughts (apparently) and rhetoric are beyond what one would expect to naturally occur. Therefore, the phenomenon must be a miracle.

No, it was not He-Man, "shockofgod" evoking the Power of Greyskull. Instead, GodDidIt! (Turned shockofgod into a Super Inconsistent Human).

    Now you know.

  • Believers are told in Mark 16:17-18 that they can drink "any deadly thing" and "it shall not hurt” them.

Sounds like a fairytale to me.

  • You guys can call me anything you like. I would, however, recommend you to watch some of the videos on my channel that elaborate on some of the points I made on my video response before you rip on me. It'll save me the trouble of repeating myself.

  • @TruthofthePeople "You guys can call me anything you like."

    Huh?

  • @crazypills2 I think he thought you were insulting him and not SoG

  • @crazypills2 My bad, didn't watch the full vid...was in a rush when I responded... sorry! D:

Yeah He did kind of contradict himself there...

  • @TruthofthePeople "My bad, didn't watch the full vid...was in a rush when I responded... sorry! D:"

    No problem.

I know you said you wouldn't be making another response to his video. However, there is so much material in his response (especially about the scientific method and bias) that I think you should reconsider.

  • @TruthofthePeople

Hi Shirley. I don't think anyone is ripping on you, it's shock of god that is revealed as a goon in this video. Personally I think it's great you jump right into the fray with people like SoG. Keep up the good work.

  • @TruthofthePeople

OK then, I shall call you Lampito.

  • @TruthofthePeople Can I call you pink fluffy bunny?:) You're video is great btw and we're making fun of shockofgod, not you:)

  • anythingyoulike, no problem. If I title any PMs that way though, you probably won't get them. :)

If you listen to the video, you'll find he's showing how SoG disproves his own argument when he criticizes you.

  • Shock is a rather amazing fellow, ain't he?

  • @TheMudbrooker "Shock is a rather amazing fellow, ain't he?"

You know what's interesting is that the hypocrisy wasn't the biggest problem with his video. There is so much material in his videos that it would be easy to do a series. If I only had the time....

  • LMAO. Good points. This guy is completely delusional.

  • @Bear5177 "LMAO. Good points."

I too had a smile on my face while watching the video.
