True that it isn't in the LC, but the Wales NAtional Pool is only about a mile down the same road, opposite Singleton Hospital. Its not 50m, its about 49.9m so no olympics can be staged there, shame really.

im 15 years old , live fairly locally , been to lc2 10-15 times , its not bad , but i prefered the old leisure centre , with slides like the sapce bowl and the red and yellow striped one into the deep end , was a lot more fun that in it now to be honest , however i will still be going to lc2 soon as its fairly enjoyable , however i think the old one was better !

i was on the master blaster when it stoped! , the lifeguard came to my assistance , but he came crashing into me with no warning at all, i incurred a whiplash injurie, and now 6 mnths on my neck is still playing up, SO BE WARNED ,if the slides stop working while your on it WATCH YOUR BACK!!!!, they have retrained all there staff as a result of my accident but still be carefull , i would like to add that it would have been a fantastic experience if that wouldnt have happend,

There was nothing wrong with it before - what a waste of money. Soon the whole of Swansea will be dead! WHY? Because they are building on all the car parks - the one right next to the LC will be gone soon as are all the ones in the Marine - they think people will catch buses instead..........

Great video and thank you for posting. 5-stars. Is it true it will cost approx 7-pounds a person to use L2 if so I worry that parents with say two children 14-pound plus food and bus money, is it not very costly? My opinion is that under 16 should go in there free. It is cheaper than prison cells? Gets them away from shop corners being bored. I hope that price will be dropped. L2 looks great fun.

Great idea and one I think could work! However, chances are if they'll be let for free, they'll run a mock, vandalise stuff, graffiti the place and abuse security when confronted!

I was at the opening of the first one in 1977 (I was 5) and I have many fantastic memories with my friends going there on at saturday. I am very happy Swansea city council didn't turn it into a wasteland.
