Guy in the truck was saying, "well it was green when I saw it and next thing I know it wasn't"....bullshit, that light was redder than horse piss and he knew it.
I kept thinking the dumbass standing up on his bike was the one that was going to eat it and whaddya know the normal guy gets hit instead.
So any updates? I hope that truck driver gets his ass sued. Seriously, he ran the red light. ASSHOLE. Furthermore, I didn't see the dude that got hit hot dogging around, and puling wheelies, so the idiots that are commenting on the stunter....direct them to the stunter, not the dude that got hit.
@Folcation Totally. The guy that got hit was riding like a perfectly normal person and he was even looking around and maintaining awareness of his surroundings.
There was no way in hell he could avoid that truck either. That truck creamed him square in the broadside.
Dude hope your leg gets better and I hope you get a nice new bike and a fat check out of this nightmare.

Living in St. Louis. know tis very well. People here need to learn to fucking drie and get insrance so when shit like his happens thay don't ave to rob people ad be on the es like every other night
Agreed!!!!!!! the wreck could have been avoided had the rider just been using some X-ray goggle's and waxed his bike with truck-be-gone, I mean who doesn't look through buildings at a green light to make sure there isnt some dude on his cellphone not watching the road !!!!! totally the riders fault.
@Scootertuner1000 Most of the mid-west US does actually, especially in the winter. But hey "at least houses are cheap" the residents of this part of America often tell me when I mention how much more interesting other parts of this country/world are.... well yes, you get what you pay for.
Also, since the mid-west US is so flat it usually means our cities are almost nothing but straight line grid systems. It's an efficient system no doubt but just adds to the boredom.
Apparently you idiots talking about the camera have never heard of the Go pro camera that is made for all kinds of sports and motorsports. they make helmet mount cameras which is quite obvious when he turns his head and the camera follows that its mounted to his head. He didn't deserve to get hit and I am sure none of you have ever done one thing illegal on your motorcycle not even 1mph over the speed limit right ?? what a bunch of F#$@tards
how fucking hard is it to stop at a red light ? god dammit these fucking idiots need to stay off the roads, i would have made that fucking idiot bite the curb if i was that motorcyclist
truck driver, lucky i wasn't there you'd have left a widow and orphans! i wish the biker would have had a dump truck! instead of a bike! get off your cell phone, quit playing with your dick, AND PAY ATTENTION WHEN YOU ARE BEHIND THE WHEEL!! OR STAY HOME!
He wasn't doing stunts, & has no control of what others do on their bikes! Clearly in the video you can see that he wasn't doing any. the lights were green for the motorcyclist and red for the truck ! For those who want to also say it's because of the other motorcyclist doing a wheelie, watch the video again. He clearly is not doing one through the intersection. It's the driving the white truck not paying attention & ran the red light!
i hope the rider is ok and has a speedy recovery. this could have been much worse, someone(higher power) was defiantly looking out for him even if the truck driver wasn't. all of you stay safe while riding
i like how at the end the ass is like it was green it just changed but when you look at the video its clearly green for the motorcycles for a solid 10secs or soo. lets kick his ass! you road killed my boy

@urbanracer01 Bylooking ahead. Search for hazards, Evaluate , & execute. Did you know the #1 place most motorcycle accisents occur with another vehicle is an intersection? never assume its clear, never assume other drives see the light. be ready for anything. Cover the controls adn look before you blindly ride into an intersection with blind spots. That adn I am certain he was paying more attention to his recording than he was to rideing the motorcycle. Just stupid.
@alfamale101 Look through the buildings for any trucks that might be about to run a red light? stop at every junction regardless of the traffic lights and then hope not to get rear ended because your doing something stupid like stopping for a green light? imagine everyone did that, it would cause chaos on the roads. He had a solid green light for at least 10seconds, why would he or anyone for that matter not continue through the junction?
@urbanracer01 I look before I leap, I dont want to be a statistic like this clown was. Then again I pay attention to the road, not a video camera. To avoid getting rear ended I suggest you look into hyperlites and good mirrors. The rider here is a SQUID more worried about looking cool than riding safely. Thats why he has NO MIRRORS. Now thats just plain stupid. Look its simple RIDE LIKE YOU ARE INVISIBLE. its the only way to avoid this.
@Scootertuner1000 Showss the rider is a carless asshat that shouldnt be allowed on the publisc streets. He obviously wqasnt paying attention to riding or he could have avoided the idion that ran the red light.
@alfamale101 I have been riding for almost 40 years. He was less then 20 feet from the intersection at roughly 40mph. The stopping distance at 40mph (that is combined reaction distance and braking distance) is 59 feet (motorcycle safety info dot com). there was no way to avoid the truck.
@Scootertuner1000 Really, So brake and turn right in front of the truck was not an option? I call B.S. I too have been rideing for many years adn this WAS avoidable. Unfortunate that it happened in the first place, and totally the drivers fault, But the rider could have avoided it if he had been paying attention.
@alfamale101 I have been riding since I was a small child. I call BS on your BS. Could not have been avoided, it is simply impossible. I have a motorcycle license from England, Germany and here NC. I have also raced in my younger days, quite successfully I might add. You will have a nasty accident one day, you obviously over estimate what is possible. It's not worth arguing though, you'll learn the hard way.
@Scootertuner1000 been riding since I was 6, havent been over 6 months of my adult life without a bike. I have taken adn now teach MSF classes. I attended several track days at barbers motor speedway as well as 2 others. it was avoidable, Watch it again and keep in mind that you are a taget at intersections and think of what you could have done to avoid this. Make a plan for an iccident at every intersection and then you will be ready for the truck when it runs the light.
@alfamale101 I started at 6 too, I've never been without a bike. Didn't start driving a car till I was 24. I disagree though, maybe the best thing would have been to accelerate hard, that is probably the only way he could have avoided it. Half a bike's length and he would been out of the way. As an MSF teacher you know that he couldn't have avoided that by braking and turning.
I was West Essex Schoolboy Scrambles Champion (Suzuki RM125) in 1972 and 73. (Essex in England)
@Scootertuner1000 By braking I mean a tap on the brakes to load the suspension for a turn. (slow look press and roll) When I enter into a blind intersection I am alerady covering the controls watching like a hawk for morons like this truck driver. When they do screw up ( and it happens often) i initiate my plan and ride away in one piece. My current steed has 130K miles on it and its still going strong. I bought it in 2006 with 3700 miles on it.
@alfamale101 I getcha. As far as being always ready, I agree. I always ride as if the guys in the cars are out to get me. . I have an old 1969 Jawa that I converted to diesel (great fun) a 1974 Suzuki GT380, a couple of scooters, a home made moped, a Honda CBX1000, a Suzuki RG500 and a Honda CR500. I have some videos on YT. My chanell is private, but you can find my vids putting my handle into the search box.
@alfamale101 I had one accident (on the road at least) when I was 19. A car pulled across on me when I was next to him. I spent 3 months in hospital. Sued his arse though. Got a new CBX (1980) and a tidy settlement out of his insurance company.
@alfamale101 - shut the fuck up. if you have the right of way, and you get t-boned what was he gonna do bail on the bike and, slide under it? or swerve at the last minute, god dude you think a motorcycle safety course will train you to do last minute maneuvers? i men trust me at the age of 18 i took the class 3 days after my 18th birthday on my Suzuki bandit 1200, and going 45 mph and swerving by a cone is not the same as this video, BTW im still 18!
@TheBarberjustin I agree, you are 18 , Grow up junior than come talk to me. Life will teach you lessons i cant. Use the tools thay taught you, You will eventually learn to swerve a car, not just a come.
@alfamale101 Haha, dickhead. His camera was on his helmet. Mirrors don't prevent getting Tboned because a driver runs a red light. Mirrors are completely irrelevant and inconsequential to this accident. Troll.
@alfamale101 Lol. Idiot. Maybe you want to actually look at the video and not in your mirrors. It's plain to see he was taken out by a light jumper from the left
@alfamale101 Certainly am. Stupid enough to look where i'm going. Your retarded comments can only mean you are the worst possible type of driver. If you fail to see a clear fault of the driver in this repeatable video what the hell is your driving/ riding like
@Bramble43 I never said the rider was at FAULT, I actually said quite the opposite, Just that a good rider could have avoided an ignorant driver running the red light if he had been paying attention. remember the 1 place for motorcycle wrecks is in an intersection, You should be ready for morons that cant drive when you near an intersection.
@alfamale101 ld have hit the really loud horns I installed, rooled on the throttle followed by a puch on the right hand bar. I would have been well ahead of the truck by the time he figured out what had happened. Its a strategy , SEE, Look it up, learn it and live by it. be ready, Just because you have the green light doesnt mean you are not the one that going to pay when the guy runs the light.
@avengersoul No one is denying ti was the trucks fault, But a biker that was paying attention could have avoided the truck. The biker always looses , thats why we have to stay alert at all times.
@r11000yamaha too bad there is all video of him doing highchairs but he is recovering from leg surgery.. he has only been on the bike for like a month since surgery... get the facts rite first
If you had goosed that throttle he might have only clipped your rear tire. Brakes are bad in panic situations. Either way, cagers at fault. Douche bag.
@SuperCheese088 that and look left he could have made a right turn in front of the truck and avoinded it completely. Gotta pay attention out there Its dangerous.
Ride like an idiot get thumped like an idiot!! I've been riding 45 years and it never ceases to amaze me how shitty some crotch rocket riders display their stupidity. Did you learn anything??
@scooter1986100 the person who was hit wasn't doing stunts, speeding, etc.. Were you even paying attention to that? You're an idiot people like you never cease to amaze me. It doesn't matter what type of motorcycle he was on. He was obeying the laws, he's not in control of what others do!
@scooter1986100 People that ride like this never learn. I was surprised so see them wearing helmets. Still teh cagers fault, But the bike could have easily avoided this is he didnt have his head up his ass riding like a clown.
@alfamale101 you can clearly see the biker notice the truck @ 2:11 and hear his tires from the brake pressure. his head was up. the light was green for a good amount of time. 100% drivers fault
@ricochet08 100% drivers fault. 100% avoidable by the rider had he been paying attention. In most cases its the drivers fault, but the motorcyclist pays the higher price with injuries. PAY ATTENTION adn avoid getting hit. Its that simple.
Seriously, I'm glad you're okay. It kills me how many people run those lights like that. Plus, I have to salute you for checking your sides. So many riders that have passed me barge on over and leave nothing but chaos in their wake.
People in cars just don't see bikes. He had one cross right in front of him but kept on going no dive on the front of the truck or anything. Fucking cage driver space out.
FUCK THAT TRUCK. Glad your alright man...awesome video and footage. Wish i would of had a helmet cam when i crashed. It was mounted forward on my windshield. How much damage to the bike?
You can literally see the motorcyclists have a green light for at LEAST 13 seconds, the truck driver's claim that "when it turned red I didn't have time to stop" is absolute bullshit.
There is a female pedestrian that crossed in front of the bikes in the intersection. I bet the truck driver saw that and didn't pay attention to his red light.
Damn that sux but at least its documented and the guy was honest enough man to stop because most ppl would have just jetted after something like this happened
If you look at time 2:04 the light at the intersection is green. The truck had the red light for more than 8 seconds before he enters the intersection. If you also notice the truck doesn't even hit the breaks until he has already entered the intersection. He also seems oblivious to the other traffic that is stopped. From the video the biker isn't speeding or showing off, but he couldn't see the truck until it was too late. The driver of the truck is hosed in court.
When he looked up he thought he had a green light? How long was it since he last looked up? You can see the light at the intersection is green in the motorcyclist's direction for a couple seconds leading up to him even entering it.
That accident could of been reduce or prevented, I mean the biker had quite a lot of time to react; swerving or good breaking probably would of done enough.
Total bs about the cager though, idk what people are thinking driving these days..
Thank GOD he was wearing proper biking gear and not just a short and tshirt like you see many idiots wearing. Those clothes could have been the difference between a skin graft or not! Glad hes okay.
truck driver said "well when I looked up the first time the light was green"....the first time?! are you a fucking moron? when driving a vehicle-especially on busy streets-your eyes should be on the road at all times.
Seeing a truck run a red light = infuriating. Seeing said truck hit a bike = concern for the rider. Seeing a ZX-10R standing in a pool of its own oil = tragic.
When you have a close call it's easy to be in their face and be abusive but when you have an accident (like this) you just dont get angry. I had a driver turn in front of me, I hit his door and it broke my knee (it wasn't as sore as this guys) but it has taken almost 5 months to get back to (almost) normal. Even with the wheelies these guys where not speeding or out of control, he shoulda stopped (didnt have time to stop BS) but they do make 'defensive' comments. Hope all is ok now.
I like seeing all the comments wishing the rider a quick recovery. I roll my eyes at all the bumpkins who see naught but dollar signs in an accident. This city is prolific in its litigiousness.
"When I looked up the first time it was green."
HUH??? Whaddya mean "when you LOOKED UP the first time"??
What were you doing when you WERE NOT LOOKING, jacking off or texting your girlfriend?
You just closed the case by admitting ON VIDEO that you were not paying attention to your driving, mister truck owner.

Scootertuner1000 1 month ago
@alfamale101 Not going to bother arguing about it though. Difference of opinion from one experienced biker to another.
Scootertuner1000 1 month ago
@alfamale101 - shut the fuck up. if you have the right of way, and you get t-boned what was he gonna do bail on the bike and, slide under it? or swerve at the last minute, god dude you think a motorcycle safety course will train you to do last minute maneuvers? i men trust me at the age of 18 i took the class 3 days after my 18th birthday on my Suzuki bandit 1200, and going 45 mph and swerving by a cone is not the same as this video, BTW im still 18!
TheBarberjustin 1 month ago
@TheBarberjustin I agree, you are 18 , Grow up junior than come talk to me. Life will teach you lessons i cant. Use the tools thay taught you, You will eventually learn to swerve a car, not just a come.
alfamale101 1 month ago
@alfamale101 Haha, dickhead. His camera was on his helmet. Mirrors don't prevent getting Tboned because a driver runs a red light. Mirrors are completely irrelevant and inconsequential to this accident. Troll.
Beeroshima21 2 months ago
@alfamale101 Lol. Idiot. Maybe you want to actually look at the video and not in your mirrors. It's plain to see he was taken out by a light jumper from the left
Bramble43 1 month ago
@Bramble43 You are not really this stupid are you?
alfamale101 1 month ago
@alfamale101 Certainly am. Stupid enough to look where i'm going. Your retarded comments can only mean you are the worst possible type of driver. If you fail to see a clear fault of the driver in this repeatable video what the hell is your driving/ riding like
Bramble43 1 month ago
@Bramble43 I never said the rider was at FAULT, I actually said quite the opposite, Just that a good rider could have avoided an ignorant driver running the red light if he had been paying attention. remember the 1 place for motorcycle wrecks is in an intersection, You should be ready for morons that cant drive when you near an intersection.
alfamale101 1 month ago
@alfamale101 ld have hit the really loud horns I installed, rooled on the throttle followed by a puch on the right hand bar. I would have been well ahead of the truck by the time he figured out what had happened. Its a strategy , SEE, Look it up, learn it and live by it. be ready, Just because you have the green light doesnt mean you are not the one that going to pay when the guy runs the light.
alfamale101 1 month ago
@alfamale101 You're saying that to guy who's name is alfamale lol
jimmiow 1 month ago
why is it such a debate of the truck running the red light.. the guy even admits he ran a red light.
avengersoul 2 months ago
@avengersoul No one is denying ti was the trucks fault, But a biker that was paying attention could have avoided the truck. The biker always looses , thats why we have to stay alert at all times.

Tbone59731 2 months ago
If you had goosed that throttle he might have only clipped your rear tire. Brakes are bad in panic situations. Either way, cagers at fault. Douche bag.
SuperCheese088 2 months ago
@SuperCheese088 that and look left he could have made a right turn in front of the truck and avoinded it completely. Gotta pay attention out there Its dangerous.

I am usually not a fan of these "Stunt riders" but I'm in their corner on this one. The light was CLEARLY green

Ride like an idiot get thumped like an idiot!! I've been riding 45 years and it never ceases to amaze me how shitty some crotch rocket riders display their stupidity. Did you learn anything??
scooter1986100 2 months ago
@scooter1986100 Did you watch the video? It wasn't even his fault. It was the person who was driving the truck.
samguyperson 2 months ago
@scooter1986100 So what you're saying is if they were riding a big gay harley he wouldn't have been hit by the truck?
I'll try to remember that.
0778drz110 2 months ago
@scooter1986100 the person who was hit wasn't doing stunts, speeding, etc.. Were you even paying attention to that? You're an idiot people like you never cease to amaze me. It doesn't matter what type of motorcycle he was on. He was obeying the laws, he's not in control of what others do!
85Sportsgurl 2 months ago
@scooter1986100 People that ride like this never learn. I was surprised so see them wearing helmets. Still teh cagers fault, But the bike could have easily avoided this is he didnt have his head up his ass riding like a clown.
alfamale101 2 months ago
@alfamale101 you can clearly see the biker notice the truck @ 2:11 and hear his tires from the brake pressure. his head was up. the light was green for a good amount of time. 100% drivers fault
ricochet08 2 months ago 2
@ricochet08 100% drivers fault. 100% avoidable by the rider had he been paying attention. In most cases its the drivers fault, but the motorcyclist pays the higher price with injuries. PAY ATTENTION adn avoid getting hit. Its that simple.
alfamale101 2 months ago
@alfamale101 That could not have been avoided. Don't be such a cunt

85Sportsgurl 2 months ago
Yes, truck driver ran the red light. Bad.
Yes, they were doing wheelies on a public road, Bad.
Yes, I'm a motorcyclist. NOT Bad.
Yes, I was hit by a SUV at almost that exact same corner (turned right through me). Bad.
So, I think there's plenty of blame to spread around. Do your wheelies on closed courses, and pay attention at intersection.

roostinu57 2 months ago
Seriously, I'm glad you're okay. It kills me how many people run those lights like that. Plus, I have to salute you for checking your sides. So many riders that have passed me barge on over and leave nothing but chaos in their wake.

Cruising down Broadway and Walnut and some asshole runs the light...That figures. Bikers get no fuckin respect at all. Sorry that happened bro.
TEMPEST0087 2 months ago
People run reds because they arent afraid to die. If the implications were more serious it would wisen them up quickly.
Since I cant trust all the rest of you self-centered assholes, I can't ride a bike. Too risky.

jimmaey 2 months ago
If the other rider hadn't of pulled that last wheelie the driver would have got two for the price of one
Shatcore 2 months ago
You can literally see the motorcyclists have a green light for at LEAST 13 seconds, the truck driver's claim that "when it turned red I didn't have time to stop" is absolute bullshit.
gregoryshort 2 months ago 12
There is a female pedestrian that crossed in front of the bikes in the intersection. I bet the truck driver saw that and didn't pay attention to his red light.

Damn that sux but at least its documented and the guy was honest enough man to stop because most ppl would have just jetted after something like this happened
bradymardany 2 months ago
If you look at time 2:04 the light at the intersection is green. The truck had the red light for more than 8 seconds before he enters the intersection. If you also notice the truck doesn't even hit the breaks until he has already entered the intersection. He also seems oblivious to the other traffic that is stopped. From the video the biker isn't speeding or showing off, but he couldn't see the truck until it was too late. The driver of the truck is hosed in court.

squishyone70 2 months ago
I wonder what was the damage ? Broken bones ? or just bruises ?
Socomnick 2 months ago
When he looked up he thought he had a green light? How long was it since he last looked up? You can see the light at the intersection is green in the motorcyclist's direction for a couple seconds leading up to him even entering it.

I hope your insurance company sues the fucking shit out of him! What an ignorant piece of shit!

WASEEMNAEEM 2 months ago
That accident could of been reduce or prevented, I mean the biker had quite a lot of time to react; swerving or good breaking probably would of done enough.
Total bs about the cager though, idk what people are thinking driving these days..

Seeing a truck run a red light = infuriating. Seeing said truck hit a bike = concern for the rider. Seeing a ZX-10R standing in a pool of its own oil = tragic.
XPhaededX 2 months ago
When you have a close call it's easy to be in their face and be abusive but when you have an accident (like this) you just dont get angry. I had a driver turn in front of me, I hit his door and it broke my knee (it wasn't as sore as this guys) but it has taken almost 5 months to get back to (almost) normal. Even with the wheelies these guys where not speeding or out of control, he shoulda stopped (didnt have time to stop BS) but they do make 'defensive' comments. Hope all is ok now.
rexelninety 2 months ago
Also, you may want to take the tag "dead" from video. That's just whoring from views.
