It was confirmed by someone, possibly in the book I do believe, that Arthas and the "Lich King" had sort of a psychological battle and Arthas pretty much consumed the Lich King.

So, Arthas is indeed the evil badass.

As far as I know anyway. Apparently Blizzard like to make hiccups with the lore :P

I hate how they say Arthas when the Lich King spirit is the one to blame for Arthas' corruption. Im sure Arthas spirit will be freed in some way.

I kind of can see that watch 3.3 will be. It will be the citadel of course and the raid boss will be the lich king but I really see it similar to the black temple and maybe add a bit of more epicness when you probably have to do some quests where you and a large force march towards the citadel...hence all the lv 80-83 elites standing on the ground outside.
