All due respects to Todd Rundgren,but screw him.THIS VERSION IS BETTER!Sloan's version has that garage-rock sound.Rundgren's version is too slick and overproduced,and the video was just a rehash of the same pastiche of baby-boomer 60's era cliches slapped together for a band that came out of the late 80's East-coast Canada alternative rock scene.Two thumbs up for this.

@MacBoy796 NO WAY. Smeared version is tarted up like the 2nd coming of Smells Like Teen Spirit. This is how the band intended it. Smeared version sounds like David Geffen was calling the shots right in the studio.
