WOW! Amazing Look how far he has gone. It's So Cool to watch him grow up right before our eyes and I am SURE no doubt he will be around for a VERY very long time.God Bless him.T-Mans talent is getting better and better all the time.

Taking lessons for years can go on for a lifetime and never make you a great, original, soulful, creative muscian. Being a great technician and covering/copying note for note is fine and all. Creatively playing and feeling it for yourself is another. Tallan obviously feels it, breathes it, lives it, Now let's watch and see if he creates original material of appeal. I'm betting we'll see that from Tallan before the envious naysayers. He's got the guitar skill. He's got blues in his soul.
@thompson197 I´m playing since 3 years and I´m 12, so please check out my channel. He´s good, there´s no doubt, but what a elevation! OK, I haven´t seen any guys like him but I know some guys here on YT, and they are playing like him. He´s one of the few who can play very good for his age. But he´s not alone.
I don't care what you "experts" say, a kid at age of 10 is putting the feel into music that i didnt really see before... he's feeling it while most guys have good tehnique but no feel and that's what your going for in the end.
this shows he knows the give and take of a true Blues performance - everyone gets a turn at soloing and everyone backs the soloist of the moment. Very cool!!!
Picked it up on his own at age 5. Come on people. Prodigy: a person, especially a child or young person, having extraordinary talent or ability: a musical prodigy. He is definitely that. He looks like he's having such a good time. I wish him a long and happy career.
@kwgrid I assume you don't play guitar? That's not extraordinary talent. Even for his age. I'm so baffled by the amount of attention this kid has gotten, it's completely ludicrous. For 5 years playing experience, he should be AT LEAST this good.
@thompson197 I agree. I certainly wasn't impressed. Anyone with 5 years of experience should be....I'm not sure how good, but again I agree, at LEAST this good.
@solidsnake4147 So what band did you get kicked out of?? Another 5'6" little big man comment. The girls know what I'm saying. Why don't you take your little buddy here and go bullshit each other somewhere else.
@irishsetterarchie Angry over the internet, because you saw people posting their own opinions. Which is exactly what comments are fucking for. They don't have to be positive, you don't have to read them, and you don't have to go around bothering people who have better things to do, then read hate mail from angry, pre-pubescent children who can't handle truth on the internet. Grow a pair.
BTW: Acting tough won't get you anywhere, especially on a computer. Might as well buff up now, life is hard.
@solidsnake4147 I believe in free speech. Listen up....I am a 62 year old grandmother. I was a mother of three, 2 boys and a daughter. I have out-lived both of my sons and my daughter is disabled with degenerative bone disease. Here's what angers me, some shallow self righeous intellectual using his freedom of speech to critisize a young boys musical accomplishments instead of a kind word of encouragement. Life is hard! How many children has your mother lost? Surely she is ashamed of at least 1.
Guess you got me. Real hard, too. Because I don't hold any regards for peoples lives other then my own. I'm sorry about your children, but that's none of my concern.
Maybe my mother is ashamed, maybe not. Again, it's not important to me, and I have nothing to prove.
And, of course, the kid IS good. Just not as good as he should be. Not as good as 5 years of experience should gift him with.
@thompson197 I don't see or hear you playing so why should I think you have any credibility as a critic? Let me guess, you're full grown and about 5'6' tall right! LADIES you know what I'm saying here right??!! Thompson...go pick on someone at least your own size.....wait...Tallan is 11 yrs. old now. He may be taller than you!!
@irishsetterarchie I don't need you to think I have any credibility as a critic. If you knew anything about guitar then you would have your own credibility as a critic. And by the way, the jokes you made and then repeated in another comment right after, make you look like a really unfunny comedian.
@irishsetterarchie Really? I think I'd much rather be someone who isn't overly sensitive towards an 11 year old boy than someone who has no talent for comedy.
No offense, but I don't think a 10 year old with 5 YEARS of experience playing like that is a "Prodigy". what I think IS amazing, is a 14 year old with 3 months of practice playing like this. It takes a minor amount of motivation to actually want to play. By age 15-18, he'll be forgotten, by many...his fame is only followed so closely by his age. But he is good for a 10 year old, I gotta say. The longer he keeps practicing, the better he's gonna get. Hope to guitar duel him in a few years lol.
@solidsnake4147 Thats right you don't "THINK". The def of a prodigy is this; "An unusually gifted or intelligent (young) person; someone whose talents excite wonder and admiration"
.
So "think" whatever the hell you want...hes a prodigy.
@nfldman1976 Exactly, that's what "I" think. You don't have to like it. It's called MY OPINION for a reason. Don't like it? Don't respond. I have enough shit in my box as it is.
@solidsnake4147 I have to agree. He's definitely good but thats 5 years of practice. Prodigy is someone who just is shown the basics and in a very short time can make the guitar cry.
This child is amazing, and if anyone can't see that he plays straight from the soul , they aren't listening with the right ears honey. He is magical to watch.
thegreat thing about negative comments, is that he only will be more determined by his will and spirit to play !! great job kid!!!!!!! (or shall i say you suck ;) )
@jbassman666 lmao u right justin can't be near talented people they show him he's a nobody that's why usher has to dance like him so he doesn't get shown up for the fact he really has no talent at all how did that kid get a record deal I'm gonna call usher and tell him I can sing and dance better than justin can I have a deal lol
look at how much fun he's having. he's 10, and to him this is like playing. not playing an instrument per se, but playing. he's having fun, doing what he loves and it must be hard for him to not jump around screaming all the time because he just happens to be amazing at what he loves to do.

No matter what Tallan is, who he is, his reasons for playing guitar, he comes off like a bloodly show-off in this video... not like a musician having fun. It appears that Tallan is missing the point. I could never support that type of "talent". Music is just not about what this dude is putting on here next to the seasoned cat. In a few years, Tallan will look at this video and cringe for how poorly he is coming off here.and @ 123ub... you're crazy "more interesting that 90%" of wuts out there?

Sorry, but this kid does not display any talent over and above his age. Playing is terrible compared to many "kid" blues players of similar age. No he would not, but he does! This kid's even performed on stage with Joe Bonamossa! He has rightly eared praise. He is not gonna be screwed up for life! He has a future oh so bright!
Such a natural talent at such a young age. Tallan is the next SRV. Just don't go flying around with stupid drunk pilots wanting to buzz the camper your buddies are staying in, and you will have a long career.
He keeps hangin' with guys like Shorty and Walter Trout, well, he'll have soul in his chops. I think that's a given! Nice job young man!

@wxyz5755 People who say shit like you really piss me off!! "just cute and young and kids" He is more than just some kid, if he was just some "cute kid strumming a guitar" would he have endorsement deals played significant gigs and have such the bright musical career ahead of him? No he would not, but he does! This kid's even performed on stage with Joe Bonamossa! He has rightly eared praise. He is not gonna be screwed up for life! He has a future oh so bright!

Such a natural talent at such a young age. Tallan is the next SRV. Just don't go flying around with stupid drunk pilots wanting to buzz the camper your buddies are staying in, and you will have a long career.
