what i do is i move the contact lens to the side of my eye THEN "pinch" it out. it seems easier and less painful for me. just a suggestion :)

I should put up a video of how to take out contacts. You don't need to tug on your eyes or pinch it out if you do it correctly. Tugging your eyes like that will cause WINKLES!

@hisf0rhilary loss of elastin and collagen is what causes wrinkles. pulling on your eye area every now and again will not do anything. the way everyone ages is mainly due to sun exposure and genetics. just sayin.

@MyUsername156 Lol i knew someone would respond like this. If you wear them EVERYDAY like i do, it WILL cause wrinkles if you take them out like she did. If you pull at the skin around your eye, it will begin to sag sooner or later. Obviously she isn't going to wear those huge contacts every single day so it probably wont do any harm. But really who cares? It's not my face! ;D

Cassie, I wear soft contacts 5/6 days a week, and when they say pinch, they do mean that "roll" you performed. Also, you should hold your top eyelid back with the hand that isn't taking the contact out, which you didn't do in the video. It's also a LOT easier to do without makeup on, trust me! :) x

what i do is use my fingers to pinch/squeeze my upper and lower lids together, making my finger and thumb closer and closer together and the contact just pops out :) you need to have no eye makeup on tho :s

I would recommend with one hand using your 1st and 2nd finger holding ur lashes to open ur eye and the other using the 2nd and 3rd to hold the bottom lashes and using ur first finger and thumb (of the hand on ur lower lashes) to take the contact out

Hi there! Just remember that cosmetic contacts should be cleaned and rinsed with the proper solution and never with water. Also, when you wear contact lenses you should use water based cosmetics as oil/powder based cosmetics may lead to lens deposits that may damage your eye or even lead to a bacterial infection. You should roll them down to the bottom of your eye and pluck them out. I do that with my prescription lenses but I don't know whether you can do that with coloured lenses.

Just letting you know, your not supposed to pinch the contacts out with the nail part of your fingers anyways, so the method you used was correct. :)

Only, to make the extraction easier its best to focus your eyes on an object to prevent blinking :))

I have contact lenses for eye sight and what I do to take them out, is the out my finger on the contact, drag it down and then sort of pick it out. It's much easier that way!

If you turn your fingers a bit more vertically, then you will be able to remove your contacts with the side of your finger, so your nails won't be in your eyes. I have contacts for my eye sight, and since I grow my nails, I do it that way. It is really easy. :)

You did a really good job for one of your first times :) I've been wearing contacts for a little while and I think it is easiest to hold your top eyelashes with your left hand and use your right middle finger to hold down the bottom lashes to stop you from blinking and then use your pointer finger and thumb to pinch the contact out, just like you did. :) However, that is just my opinion and works best for me. Just do whatever you feel the most comfortable with :D

thats not realll yhow you take them out... say your taking out the lens in your left eye. you hold your top eyelashes with your left hand, like 3 fingers. then use your middle finger on your right hand to pull down the bottom of your eye. then use your pointer(index) finger and thumb on your right hand to take it out

Ur natural eye color is rlly pretty :) an tip; when u take the contact out drag it to the corner of yur eye with one finger first, it's way easier :) especially with long nails.

Its easy for me if I take my 2 fingers like you did, and kind of just place them on the outside of the contact then slide it down, it kind of gets air inside of it better and its easier to remove. You have pretty eyes though you shouldnt change your color! lol
