  • Ja ja montoya que mal piloto

  • @Chupamelorto100 MAL PILOTO???? DEBE SER UNA JODA!!!!

  • @RAIKKONENplusROSSI true, but Villeneuve did squeeze him off the track in 05

  • Funny thing my HP laptop crashes like crazy.

  • This fuckin' gravel right here. What a fuckin' idiot.

  • Montoya after crash: FUCKIN' CORNER AND FUCKIN' GRAVEL! OF FUCK WHAT A FUCKIN' TIRE WALL!

  • Degner 1 & 2 are awesome. Get the first wrong, there's no way back for the second.

  • why don't they have those cameras anymore?

  • @iTitanium Because they put the mirrors in a different place so you wouldn't see anything. The Team Lotus has one but as they are at the back it isn't used much unless you have the incar thing

  • Smile for da camera.!

  • degner to me is the best corner in f1!! love this corner <3

  • 0:05 "NOO MOMMY NOOO!!"

  • To everyone wondering/making fun of Montoya holding his head just before the impact, here's a little explanation : in an open wheeler, during a frontal or 3/4 frontal crash, the wheels are directly exposed to the impact, thus resulting in a very brutal steering wheel "snap" that could break the drivers wrists. So the first thing you learn as a driver is, as soon as you realize that you're in for a front impact, you get your hands of the wheel and either place them on you chest, or your head...

  • @benjaaaaaa Nice info. Sergio Perez did the same in Monaco when he crashed, and everyone said it was wrong (the hands in helmet thing).

  • @Electroelectro I said the same thing when I saw perez's crash! :) I know, it does sound a bit paradoxical, but the reason why people said that is that because he had a side crash, putting his hands on the helmet (and not the chest) was a bit dangerous. Due to the side impact, he could have squashed his right hand beetween his helmet and the side protection... His reflex was spot on, but not in that particular situation... :) (Racing is a bitch! :D)

  • @Electroelectro Search an onboard of damon Hill crashing at Nurburgring in 1995. he did it too.

  • why did he hold his helmet when he was crashing

  • @EpicChrissy Perhaps to hold is head because of the impact?

  • @EpicChrissy Because steering wheel would break his hands at impact. There are no "deformation" zones like in oridinary car.

  • @JohnyAngelo oh. ok well i thought he needed to hold onto something incase the impact made him fly out of the car...

  • so easily done round there,i hate the gravel at japan

  • "Man fuck this shit im going to NASCAR"

  • Fucking lucky he didn't break his hands ! Most drivers put their hands on their chest in an impact ! ! !

  • @webberwins

Where he hit his hands it is soft bendable plastic with foam padding inside, you might see it sometimes they take that bit out to let the driver out, the piece is there pure to limit sideways movement and absorb impact.

    Hope it explains you everything.

  • @alanniamh Cheers mate, but I understand the way a F1 car is constructed. Doesn't matter how soft that cockpit surround is though. F1 cars have been know to decelerate regularly at 40g's on impact. If you make a fist with your fingers and put it between a 20kg head and helmet, and the structure, be prepared to experience a 800kg force through those knuckles ;)

  • @webberwins

You've got a point but yet again it doesn't matter because it is a foam, don't ask me which type it's probably a special one to absorb these kind of impacts.

It's designed to do that, and in the videoyou can see it absorbing the impact at the moment the car hits the tire wall.

  • @webberwins He just puts his hands on his helmet so he won't break his thumbs on the steering wheel.

  • did he break his fuckin' head?

  • @Buckwheatjay Haha epic xD

  • @Buckwheatjay He can't. His head has always been broken.

  • @aieljose hahahahahahaha

  • @Buckwheatjay lol

  • Good example of how good F1 cockpits are, even if they are open cockpit. Look at how hard his helmet hits the side. Without that side of the cockpit, all that energy would have been taken purly by his neck

  • Ironic someone whose username is Rakkinen -as the disaster driver ,or the wall driver if you prefer- he write about an accident of Montoya.

  • @RAIKKONENplusROSSI Dude, seriously? Things like this are always driver errors, unless he had a puncture. But he didn't, so it was his own mistake. Fly on his helmet come on...

  • @Tommovdv he is being sarcastic!jesus...

  • @eloria1965 yeah... i found out after i posted and was like, screw it. read it too fast didn't see the sense of humor in it:P obivously a post to shut people like mgforano up.

  • @RAIKKONENplusROSSI .......2005 ? J. Villeneuve throw Montoya out of the track while Montoya was overtaking him .......and in fact Villeneuve got a penalty for that........25 seconds penalty after the end of the race.

For sure your fault writing no sense things without to know facts.

  • this guy couldve been a legend why did he leave f1?

  • @Opupekito because they saw in the FIA General Interest beyond the sports..

    FIA favored their preferred brokers

  • All I can think of when I see this is "you broke my fucking head!!"

  • I bet when he took his hands off the steering wheel and put them up to his helmet, he was screaming like a little girl.

  • LOL how he puts his hands up like a girl! LOL Come back to F1 Montoya!!

  • @mossmusic no xD thats because if you keep your hands on the steer, you will brake your arms ;) haha you dont no shit about racing i guess xD (like a girl)

  • ugly pilot!!!

  • what a funny comment below ,as usual mainstream people have ifficulties to see the truth .

  • it looks like was in 2002

  • @RAIKKONENplusROSSI Whaha like a soccer playerXD its never his own fault. Its always something else, like you said, the track, others, a fly on his helmetXD

  • Montoya is one of the best drivers of all time!

if you give such a risk you can make mistakes sometimes!

(sry for my bad english!) =)

    Montoya go on!!! ;-)

  • @supersim2008 not at all!! he didn't won a championship, and if you drive in F1 and you want to say that you are the best, you must have won at least 3 or 4 worldhamionships...

a nice driver, just as many many others.... nothing special...

  • He was pushing very hard, and that corner is very tricky, still nice job on putting the hands on his head to avoid wrist breaking

  • epic coment!

  • @RAIKKONENplusROSSI LOVE JPM but your comment is funny as hell.

    fly on his helmet....

Sometimes F1 drivers can be kind of sissy Marry candy pants

  • the red bull corner^^

  • He wrecked in Degner. Same as countless others.

  • That (or should I say those) corner(s) are really tricky! Suzuka ftw!

  • pause on 0:06 and it looks like montoya ia about go flying out of the car

  • haha, true¡

  • lol 0.03 =failure on helm

  • 0:03 = LOL, look at his helmet!!

  • Exactly!!!

The monocoque is practically indestructible, but the g-forces must hurt!

I cant imagine how "just" a medium bad crash must feel like!

I believe all parts of the body is in pain days after because all joints, muscles etc. have tried to be ripped out of place!

Kubica endured 82 gs (yes 82!!!) at his Montreal crash!

Amazing he could survive that, but imagine the same crash without HANS!

I seriously believe HANS saved his life that day!

  • thats the thing ratzenberger did not have at his fatal crash ...

with a modern car & HANS like today ... ratzenberger would live

  • I can only agree!

    HANS is a great invention!

    Simple but effective!

Not only does it prevent the head to be forced in dangerous positions, it also reduces the G-loads on the head if you crash!

I read some test figures once where dummies with and without HANS were tested!

I cant recall exactly how much the G's were reduced, but is was certantly substantial and life saving figures!

  • Think of it like this. It keeps your head from "cracking the whip" so to speak. Keeps none of that over exaggerated movement. It reduces g-loads on the spine in major wrecks by like 200 percent.

  • Look how he crosses his arms and holds his hands into his body, when he realizes he is going to take an impact!

All drivers are instructed to do this, as it minimizes the risk of injury when their arms could potentially be swung in every direction with g-forces much higher than human muscles can control!

If you must crash he did it well!

  • He did not cross his arms...my mistake, but the important thing is to keep them into the body!

Never hold on to the steering wheel!

  • It's mostly because of the fact that you don't want to be holding the steering wheel when it snaps to the left or right as the tires hit the wall, but sure. :) Amazingly, you see very little european drivers actually do that.

  • Yeah. Many broken wrists in the past.

  • but he did horrible driving.

  • drivers hold their hands of the steering wheel because if the have an impact it is possible that the steering wheel can swap to the left or right and that can broke your hand. vettel did it too with his crash in australia

  • I miss Montoya. He was someone you could count to make a huge scene. F1 today: Cars drive in circles, no one overtakes, no action, no accidents (without injuries), no reliability issues, no one cares.

  • Montoya didnt leave F1 by his own will....if he stayed he was getting fired.... to many rookie misstake...there were so many driver who were better then him... I saw him on Television 2 week ago.... he was extremely fat now...doesnt they have to keep in shape "over there"??

  • montoya was a good driver, no doubt about it. but he had the personality of a hooligan. (camera to the head anyone?) i mean accidents happen, and montoya almost goes berserk after that. Personally i must say that i don't miss him.

  • WTF?????????

  • Simply ..thank you..about M2 003 .I was refering specially to the episode of Ferrari Sauber(frentzen) when he clearly stopped Montoya that was arrived after a very long and hard work. That day many people asked for their money back. the vid - monza 2003 hightlight -shows very good it ...listen Briatore.... (Shameful) . Thanks for your comment

  • everyone who says montoya is a bad driver needs to have a serious rethink. he was a superb driver, very brave (which admittidly cost him a few races). take the over take of shumy on the bus stop in spa, pure brilliance! i miss him on the grid and can't believe he's gone to NASCAR, but i spose he was just fed up of all the politics of f1 and the fia

  • I obviously totally agree and I'm so happy to see that there is someone that watch things deeply and don't follow simply mainstream .

  • mgarfano your full of shit. montoya got whooped by schu at monza 2003

  • good reflex oh montoya,experience!!!!

  • I miss Monty in F1, but his carefree style and attitude did not fit well with Mclaren, not to mention he had an ultra-quick teammate in Kimi. I would love to see him back.

  • Shut up your mouths, Montoya is the best!!

  • Sure it was Schumacher-Ferrari fault or conspiration, as always when Montoya had make mistakes he blamed Schumacher or Ferrari. He ended racing at NASCAR at F1 mid season, he knew he´ll never be a F1 world champion and if you say that he is a fair driver take a look of his first winning at NASCAR, he crashed his temmate to win, that is a good atittude...

  • what was the dirty joke

  • JPN is the best!!

  • montoya is the best!!!!!!

  • never liked montoya, not a man nor a good driver!

  • HE IS SOO COOOL :)

  • nice

  • On this video you can see how well prepared formula 1 drivers are. Juan pablo takes his hands off the steering wheel when he knows he has lost control of the car. If we would've kept them on he could've injured them.

  • I believe all racing drivers know this. Not just Formula 1.

  • Wow, look at his head going to the side at time of the impact. Those high cockpit thingies do a great job.

  • Haha, I can just picture him going: EEEEEEEEK

Good thing he was ok though ;)

  • he was bricken it XD

  • what are you talking about

  • That looks so violent...crazy stuff that open wheel is!

  • very cool video, that onboard look is awesome, i had no idea how they prepared for a crash but now i know thanks LOL

  • you're too stupid to understand why he acted like that

  • lmao! moran!

  • Love the onboard shot, gives a great perspective.

  • That was a cool onboard camera.

  • On this video you can see how well prepared formula 1 drivers are. Juan pablo takes his hands off the steering wheel when he knows he has lost control of the car. If we would've kept them on he could've injured them.

  • Yhea back in the days some drivers wrapped there arm's around there helmet to avoid a wiplash.

    Human HANS :)

  • @heinerperdomo Any race driver knows that. I'm an amateur and it was one of the first things I learned to do in a crash.

  • @heinerperdomo not that well prepared, he didn't take his feet of the pedal. You can hear the engine reving when he hit the barrier as his foot stumbled on the the accelerator.

  • woopsy

  • o montoya tava querendo come brita?? =p
