  • MJ and Elvis were both talented people that will live on forever there is no reason to hate on them. Elvis was the king of rock and roll and MJ was the king of pop, the only reason people try to compare the two is because MJ was married to Elvis's daughter. they are not really comparable because they both did different types of music.

  • Why do Elvis laugh and poke at Japan ? :) haah<3

  • So disgusting that greedy con-artist Parker wouldn't let Elvis tour the world. Elvis would have been even bigger and would have been made so much more happy. It could have saved his life by giving him something huge to strive for.

  • Elvis is the true King, he changed entertainment and music forever!

  • 2:02 elvis or that interviewer ripped a mean one

  • he was deprived of all decent food as a child and teenager even having to resort to catching squirrels to eat,and when he got discovered and had the cash he went mad on food,it comforted him, cheeseburgers and fried foods being his favorites.drugs and overeating killed elvis, and a greedy grasping prisilla broke his heart

  • The King was one of Micheals idols. MJ may not have been who he was without his idols. MJ did some weird crap and would probably be in jail if it wasn't for all his money. I love MJ's music as well as Elvis but drug abuse was not talked about alot back then and look at all the poor stoned fers as u call them that are dying now with all the help that is out there. There was no one helping when Elvis died.

  • he looks so tired of the act

  • Poor stoned fucker. Moron. Victim.

Be smart; be smart out there.

  • @amitus8 fuck u and dont put URSELF down so much

  • @debbieb221 Why would you say that to someone who loves you?

  • stay off the drugs

  • Elvis was is and will for-ever will be the King.

The King lives on through his fans

  • I love Elvis but please don't take this wrong, but in this interview you can see that he was under some form of drugs. It's sad that such a great human being would do such a thing to harm himself. He was a very troubled man who was seeking to find happiness. I guess the letter that Wayne Newton purchased & sang about brings this to light in the vids of Elvis. RIP " king " ....

  • Dude WFT is King of pop, what the fuck is that shit????,There's only one king, one kind of music the rest is crap, Elvis was the king.Period

  • @jokkergar hell no. mj is the bosss

  • @Swindian101 of course big guy :D

  • @Swindian101 mj is the bosssss alright the boss of fuckin PEDOPHILES!!!!!!

  • there was so much crap going around him all the time. even that silly costume he wore for his concerts....

He was a very intelligent person but no one got to see mcuh of it. ..his life style was very much compromised. No wonder he died ...his last days were very sad.

  • @bossyboots55 they were not silly back then check out all the bands that wore that kind of stuff

  • to anybody who compares elvis to michael jackson, they were completely different people, i mean obviously they had things in common (lisa marie and the drugs) but other than that, they were different performers and were inspired by different types of music, i dont think you could ever compare two legends.

  • to me Elvis seems like a very powerful figure and very untouchable, it may just be me but whenever i think of him, i think of a powerful man who could do anything he wanted to, lol if any of this makes sense to anybody :P

  • I'm going to apologize beforehand for my language, but the fact is that Elvis could have easily done international concerts. He could have gone and been sold out anywhere in the world! His films could have been better chosen too. But it was always no, because "Colonel" Parker said no. His ONLY concern was ALWAYS for his 50/50 buck. What an opportunistic, self-seeking, goddamn motherfucking asshole.

The worst part is that it was Elvis' mother whom Parker had convinced to hire him as manager.

  • Wow! Elvis just exudes tons of accolades as a personable and articulate commentator. If he could have tamed his drug usage, I think he should have been rewarded a bench on the high court or Sec. of State position or possibly made a run for President of the Untied Skates. If 14 year-old girls could vote, he would have won handily.

  • Wait a minute...Elvis could do concerts around the world, he was restricted to do them due to his manager Col. Tom who had immigration issues. What a shame.

I think the Col. hurt Presley more than he helped him....50/50 split on earnings?

    What a rip-off.

  • there is room for many kings

  • elvis is the king of all the music burn mj u aint crap

  • Elvis Ruined His Life & Killed Himself Using Drugs -

BE STRONG! - BE SMART! - SAY NO TO DRUGS!

  • @gfemg say yes to drugs

  • I just shit ma pants....thank you, thank you very much.

  • elvis was great but the thing that annoys me, is that they call MJ for taking prescription drugs and everything yet idolise Elvis who did exactly the same thing! MJ started out as a boy, Elvis was older also they're both great but their music is from different eras and aimed st different genres, Elvis has made more since he died than when he was alive, but MJ has eclipsed that and after such a really short time!!

  • UK MORONS DIDN BROADCAST IT LIVE!

  • I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE I LOVE FOREVER ELVIS PRESLEY!! BEAUTIFULL!! UMA FÃ NO BRASIL!!

  • ELVIS music - was wow to the people of 50s they never heard such great music and the music made them dance and have fun and girls loved him for his great looks.

MJ musis - was wow music to 80s-90s. He reinvent music, stage performance and music videos. He show people of bouth gender and all ages how to really party hard. It wasnt only girls who scrim on his shows and fainted. When for ELVIS we can say his music was ment to attract girls only with his lyrics. Kinda like Justin Beber today.

  • Its funny seeing him wear those glasses and now its back in style. I like those glasses anyway but its just interesting. I'm an MJ fan and an Elvis fan. Both contributed to music in a big way and in their own way. Its a moot point to argue who's better or what not. I love them both. Both have their great points and their not so flattering points. But I think both were a victim of their own success. RIP MJ, RIP ELVIS!

  • @rowsdower12 they both had their not so flattering points? come on now mj was a goddam PEDOPHILE id say thats more than an unflattering point its downright sick

  • Never really was big on Elvis but the more videos I see of him it seemed as tho he had an internal sadness or something seemed to be a lil off ,i feel myself feeling sad about him he brung smiles & good feeling to people it's to bad we couldn't have saved him .

  • He appears to be a lazy person he is just like Lisa

  • In the first interview he seems really high.

  • junkie?

  • He can't really sing

  • @beezybalboa Elvis? NO WAY! Go look up Elvis tupelo.

  • Theyre both dope fuck ur ranking system

  • this was right before I turned 10...I am a Memphian...! Remeber him just like this...

  • is it me ore is elvis fucked up during this interview???

  • WOW YOU PEOPLE ARE DISRESPECTFUL; "SCREW MJ" is the TOP RATED comment I see on an Elvis video? This is sad. How come when I go to a Michael Jackson video, there isn't a "Screw Elvis" comment everywhere? Oh yeah, thats right, because they actually have respect, or maybe for one don't feel intimidated by him to even write those comments. If comments like this are being brought here, that only means you all feel threatened by MJ. Lay off. He did nothing to you.

  • @crazy4corbinbleux

That's a joke, right? Because MJ fans are constantly bitching on Elvis videos, LOL. I'm asking myself why they even feel the need to watch Elvis videos, of they don't like him and are totally into MJ?

  • @crazy4corbinbleux I agree no one should disrespect MJ but Elvis come on THATS THE KING thats a plain reason why they show respect to him. All genres lovers love and respect him. But I'm pretty sure no one feels intimidated by MJ their just explaining that Elvis doesn't compare to anyone not even MJ is as talented as him

I know this and I love MJ but I love Elvis more!

  • @crazy4corbinbleux

For the love of humanity, GET IT RIGHT! MJ fans have attacked a MYRIAD of Elvis pages. You will never see an Elvis fan on an MJ page insulting and defaming him. The ONLY reason you see an MJ comment on an Elvis page is when it is in RESPONSE to some irrational display of insolence by an MJ fan.

You're as bad as the rest of them if you say that MJ fans have respect. It's almost criminal.

  • @crazy4corbinbleux ...elvis didn't sleep with young boys...jackson paid $20 million to keep a little boy quiet....yip!..we all feel threatned by a dead peodo...dont ever compare jackson to elvis...he wouldn't tie his shoes.

  • @euroman32589 I don't know what MJ did but one thing is for sure Jackson never came close to Elvis MJ was the king of pop Elvis was just the king hence HE STILL IS THE KING I agree with you in total that michael is nothing compared to Elvis!

  • @crazy4corbinbleux I am a mega Elvis fan. But I am also an admirer of Michael Jackson. He was such an incredible talent, the likes of which will never ever be seen again. I just happen to enjoy Elvis more. Please don't mind the FEW who are disrespectful towards MJ. It is their way of showing their support of Elvis and don't represent the majority of fans. All the Elvis fans I know have tremendous admiration for MJ. He was undeniably amazing. May they both rest in peace.

  • @crazy4corbinbleux Ah, come on. I`ve seen many ugly comments directed at Elvis from wacko jacko fans all over youtube.

  • @crazy4corbinbleux except for probably molest ur sons PEDOPHILE MICHAEL!!!!

  • Dude, Michael Jackson and Elvis are two COMPLETELY different genres of music, for the most part. They are both kings...Jesus.

  • Anyone knows where all these hats are now?

  • no, not screw mj... stop comparing people.

  • ELVIS WAS LIGHTYEARS AHEAD OF HIS TIME. NO ONE WILL EVER COME EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO THE SUPREME TALENT THAT WAS ELVIS. HE WAS THE ABSOLUTE DEFINITION OF COOL. AS WE APPROACH 34 YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH HE IS STILL WTHOUT A DOUBT THE KING ! WE MISS YOU E. YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS ! AND YOU WILL AND YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER BE FORGOTTEN !!!

  • And what I ALSO find sad is that I come to an Elvis video where people are encouraging others to diss on great entertainers like Michael Jackson. If you think your Elvis is so great, why do you feel the need to bash on a seperate, successful artist like Michael Jackson? Why feel the need to insult/bring him up, unless ofcourse, you are intimidated by him!

  • @crazy4corbinbleux I agree with you! Although maybe some people may prefer one to the other, people shouldn't diss them. I just happen to like Elvis a little more just because I'm old-fashioned and am obsessed with that time era. I still love MJ tho because he is also effortlessly cool- they're from two different planets tho. If only people could learn to love both and stop COMPARING? MJ was the King of Pop, and Elvis the King of Rock n Roll. They're beasts. :)

  • the best lookin man i've ever seen

  • Comment removed

  • @coochiemama47 Thats my FB status

  • Stop dissing Michael to lift Elvis up because he doesn't need it. Elvis was a glorious talent, but so was Michael. I love Michael Jackson and I like Elvis and I hate coming on here and seeing the top rated comments on Elvis videos being Michael Jackson related in an insulting way. You don't need to insult Michael to make Elvis seem better and you don't need to insult Elvisa to make Michael seem better. They both have a lasting legacy without stupid fan wars r.

  • elvis lives in italy

  • To settle Who is the biggest legend: just mention the name Elvis and practically everyone around the world know immediately who you are talking about.. just .mention Michael only and I guarantee most people will not immediately know you are talking about Michael Jackson as you would have to use Michael's surname ! Also Elvis appealed to a lot of differing ages whereas MJ did not.

  • @tobydoo007 Sorry but Michael Jackson is global. He is one of the most photographed persons in the world along side princess diana. Michaels fans included all ages, races... sorry but you obviously know nothing about Michael Jackson lol.

  • Elvis was really high here....damn those pills!

  • does to this day with celebrities with 1/3 Elvis fame and in the self help Dr Phil, Celebrity Rehab generation where we have all the information, knowledge and help for that to not happen..it does. He made a bigger mark on society than anyone else ever. Those who say racist are sadly sadly stupid people who don't know shit and spew wasteless garbage. There's always haters and you can keep hating can't deny the facts..if they knew them. Elvis said it himself, there's always people that hate you.

  • Elvis was thee King. 1.5 billion records sold, 1.5 billion people watching this man live at the same time. They debated to have politicians, speakers, public figures and other entertainers..they concluded only 1 man is right. He was had a drug problem ya because he slept like shit and took uppers to get him the energy to be Elvis then downers to get sleep..then got dependent. If you were the biggest star on earth and fans worship you like no other, it would eventually destroy you too and does t

  • @BottomLine111 Right, 1.5 billion people watching this man that time. The world population was 4.5 billion in 1973. That means 1 in 3 people saw this concert live. This is incredible! But don't forget that could be a bigger audience if the communist countries would let people to watch. Elvis was a phenomenon. Even when Armstrong walked on the Moon wasn't so much audience. Today we talk about Elvis, we will talk for sure over 1000 years, too!

  • Elvis is/was/and always will be the G.O.A.T. Chuck, BB, Al, they ALL hail this man as the Big Bang on Music..

  • The lot of you can all think what you want but above 'the king' title there was a man!!!who had a gift yet was very shy,grateful...u see that in that 1st interview.Everyone has faults but no one had what he had..looks,voice,humour.I love MJ but i agree....even HE tried to be above EP.failed, bless you MJ.godbless you both.

  • Fuck Elvis.

    Chuck Berry is King.

  • @7drift0king2 cmon! don't be an ass

  • @7drift0king2 "Blacks didn't have the air-waves Elvis had. He delivered what he obtained beautifully. There just ain't no words to describe him. Elvis was the greatest who ever was, is or ever will be." (Chuck Berry)

  • Slurred voice

  • @elvis4ever1935 screw elvis he was racist!

  • @OneTrillNigga07 :)) Elvis Racist?? This is the best joke i've seen! Just try to realize what a great black man talent said: "Elvis was God-given, there's no other explanation. He was an integrator! Elvis was a blessing! They wouldn't let black music throught. He opened the door for black music." (Little Richard) ...Elvis also sang "If I Can Dream" notable for its direct quotations of Martin Luther King, Jr. It was recorded by Elvis in June 1968, two months after King's assassination. Great day!

  • @elvis4ever1935 Statistically Michael Jackson took a huge shit on Elvis' head. And Michael's more popular. He made hits for 4 generations of Teenagers.

  • @dannylvalentine Oh shut up. M.j sucks.

  • @elvis4ever1935 Not even close.

  • @Sirscorps The closest

  • @elvis4ever1935 R.I.P,Elvis,in hell straight away.no dought.sorry for him.

  • @kdmirza screw you. hes not in hell. but when you die, you sure will be.

  • @elvis4ever1935 with you,specially.he is in hell,believe me.

  • @kdmirza with you my sweet heart.with elvis,fuck him,elpiss,elfucks,elshit,with you always.

  • @elvis4ever1935 aaaahhh no way, play an elvis acapella and then play a michael acapella, play a elvis video and the mj video, play michael live and then elvis live, lol no comparison, sorry!! lol!! michael took it higher, mj can hit ANY note, best dancer, and is the most popular human being on the planet, thriller sold over 180 million copies and that is only half calculated and really cant add every human being so it was probably 1billion for michael..mj could beat elvis anyday

  • He was the firstest with the mostest! I like Michael, I like Freddie, I like others, they are very talented, but no one had the charisma, impact and complexity of Elvis's voice! Who wants to compare Elvis with someone else he must first listen to over 600 songs recorded then add live performance, sex appeal, honesty, sense of humor and a generous soul. Elvis was so unique he has performed many styles, he was the perfect artist, a true king. Elvis is still in the building, he never left. FOREVER!

  • Drugs are drugs, and the only difference between "street drugs" and "drugs" is their legality. I just hate to see anyone in that condition. Too bad no one could help the king.

  • God took away this wonderful man way too soon, he was brilliant, the most successful and known singer/entertainer of all time, known world wide by just his first name. No one will ever come close to the greatness of Elvis, he was a kind, humble, generous, sweet human being who loved nothing more than to give to others less fortunate than himself, to see them smile. God Bless you Elvis wherever you are. Miss you,

  • Prio to this press conference Elvis did 2 shows, 2 concerts. He certainly sounds tired.

  • he seems like hes on coke

  • @harryahmed420

    He's not.

  • @patriciaobrian yea ok elvis never did drugs yea right

  • @harryahmed420 Well he did , His team talks about it , hes probably high right here . Or he could be having jet lag. Effects U in a draggy way. Elvis was not a street drug user. I know what it is to be addicted to sleeping pills,& pain pills. After breaking my back, I was given oxycotton, also sleeping pills to sleep . U get tired of waking up 20 times a night. the next day having to go to work? Imagine doing a concert with no sleep. Just the traveling jet lag is impossible.

  • @onstageagain jetlag my ass ive benn on planes a month stright and he didnt have a broken back and everyone knows he did drugs look at me even my spelling is fucked up cause of drugs whers my dickshernery

  • Comment removed

  • @harryahmed420 Jet lag? I've traveled with bands all over the south . I know the effects of travel, & entertainment. Elvis did up & down drugs. It a well known fact. Whats U-r point? This video was after a fly in,then 11/2 hr concert. Was also the very 1st satellite performance in the World , EVER. Not only 1,st in front of thousands, 1st time up close 4 millions.Thats Pressure! So, whats the point? I've seen this video 4 yrs. So, how may more times R we going to say yes / no?

  • @patriciaobrian Lol how would you know if he is or isn't

  • @katysweet13 becuase i do them also i know a drugieeeeeeeeee when i see one

  • @harryahmed420 Elvis didn't do Coke. This is obviously after the concert . Because you see him in a part of the interview where he is fresh & ready. He speaks of it in past tense. When he says its hard to imagine that happening. This was after the concert. His handlers would not let him come out for a interview tired . His men were far to professional than that.

  • I love him too but I must say I have never ever seen someone so looped on drugs. And to think he lived another 5 years in that cloud, I just wish someone could have broken through to him and helped,

  • @Stackpot Yes, Elvis did have drugs, but he hated street drugs, the drugs he took , far too many I agree, were prescription drugs given to him by his doctor. No one but no one can ever say Elvis did street drugs, again I say HE HATED them

  • @cityhen so could you tell us why hes not down in this history book as being the first live sat broadcast??? or was it the fact that elvis was seen by 1.5 billion people that made elvis broadcast the record breaker?.

  • @thekingseye......YEAH ELVIS WAS SEEN...BY...1,5 BILLION PEOPLE...BUT STILL HE WAS NOT THE FIRST TODO IT....TODO A VIA SATELLITE CONCERT...IT WAS......SANDRO DE AMERICA.....HIS CONCERT WAS SEEN JUST IN LATING AMERICA...AND....SOME COUNTRY IN EUROPE....BY....900 MILLION PEOPLE ON APRIL 11 ,1970.....AND DONT FORGET....THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT A SPANISH SINGER...THEY ARE ONLY GOING TO TALK ABOUT ON AMERICAN SINGER....LOOK AT SANDROS BIO...AND YOU SEE...

  • @cityhen: Elvis had around 65 no. 1 hits...

  • @cityhen: I know this is splitting hairs, but the announcer is actually right. He says "Elvis is the first performer to do a WORLDWIDE live concert via satellite." Latin America and one country in Europe is not WORLDWIDE, you know...

  • @elvisinmunich ....WHO SAID IT WAS ONE COUNTRY IN EUROPE....SANDROS CONCERT WAS SEEN IN EVERY COUNTRY IN LATIN AMERICA....AND....IN....SPAIN....ITALI...PORTUGAL...FRANCE...AUTRALIA....AND...U.S.A....FOR THE SPANISH SPEAKING PEOPLE....AND...YES ELVIS WAS WORLD WIDE...BUT SANDRO WAS THE FIRST TODO A ( VIA SATELITE CONCERT IN THE WORLD )...ON...APRIL 11 1970....AND ELVIS SEND SANDRO A GUITAR WHEN ELVIS READ ABOUT SANDRO...ON ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE....WHERE THEY COMPARE SANDRO WITH ELVIS...

  • You kinda get the feeling that he was feeling pretty burned out and tired of it all in the 70s

  • Lol he looks so tired, his eyes are red. I'm serous he's even having a hard time talking,Damm the Colonel.

  • BIIIG El fan here but come on....this interviewer is just awful, especially when he says "a real spectacular", sounds like hes being sarcastic. The people asking questions are so low key its like theyre from"night of the living dead", terribly low key and Elvis deserved a bit more enthusiasm

  • Lol.... I know where Yngwie Malmsteen got his atittude from... from The King of course!!

  • Big loss for the world- I will always love Elvis- 5 yrs old and had found my "soldier" ;) your death still breaks my heart..-

  • and interviewing elvis is ray romano

  • Yeah, Finland hat is there too!!!!!!!!!!(I'm from Finland) =D

  • Elvis ate his dads penis

  • you sickko . you r talking total crap . go fxxk yourself

  • @BlueLeopard200 hey troll you've been spotted. lulzy at best but unsuccessful.

  • elvis is a faggot who had no balls

  • @ninlandon your one sick S.O.B arent you? I personally think you have no balls you sick bastard.

  • @ninlandon ur a retard, and are jealous, because u are the one with no balls.

  • through his sunglasses you can see he has had completly death eyes.

sad to see him like this.

    sorry for my english .

  • I'd like to say a little something. I'm not saying he was high.or wasn't. But I don't do drugs and most of the time like out in public even on the phone...you should hear me. I stutter and stammer and will mix words like "Nood Gight" I breath hard all the time. I have a heart problem. As I said before I'm going to be neutral here...but wanted to share my story. Peace to all ♥

  • He's calm and collected. His charisma is on stage and that is what he wants.Elvis never cared for interviews. He cared about performing for his fans. His is extremely charismatic!

  • this is so awesome love you elvis

  • i love this video.

  • the person who made the comment about him and interviews, you have to understand the time he came from. Entertainers didn't give interviews. The world was a very different place. He was shy in that way. He didn't like talking to people, he liked talking to his fans and he loved being on stage. But it wasn't like it is today.

  • yes an real king wow........

  • At 3:54 he looks very disgusted about something. Maybe about himself. After all, he said in another interview that 'it's very hard to live up to an image'. Too much attention is not good for anyone. R.I.P. Mr. Presley.

  • For a man who was suppose to have so much charisma Elvis never seemed to have any personality in interviews.

Even in the 2 documentary movies he made in the 1970's he said very little and what he did say was very trite.

  • FOR THE RECORD: Many Legends have made their mark. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, etc. BUT, there's only 1 ELVIS & he IS The King. He will NEVER be surpassed.

As for MJ, I don't think so. Unlike the already established Elvis who was in demand world wide non-stop, MJ began being hell bent on being bigger than Elvis. He was obsessed. He proclaimed himself "The King of Pop!" Ughh.

The bottom line remains, that it's not about record sales, numbers, etc. Elvis was truly unique.

  • @Phoenix7878 Black Sabbath made more impact than hairy chest plant. sick of reading zeppelin this and zeppelin that. there are other people out there you know....!

  • @uGodDamnFaggot

quite an amusing screen name........anyways, I'm a fan of a lot of different performers. I don't have a problem with Black Sabbath. Actually they made a hell of a lot of great music.

BUT, if it comes down to who leads the pack - well then I don't give a rip whether people like it or not - Elvis isn't going anywhere. NO ONE will knock him off the top of that huge mountain. TCB

  • @Phoenix7878 you got that right, ELVIS was king, nobody could take him off that throne!

  • @Phoenix7878 Actually MJ didn't proclaim himself King of Pop, that was Elizebeth Taylor on an awards show.

  • @Phoenix7878 his fans called him king of pop fuckhead

  • @Phoenix7878 MICHAEL JACKSON NEVER PROCLAIMED HIMSELF THE KING OF POP! If I have to hear that one more time, I think i'm gonna PUNCH A HOLE IN THE WALL. It pisses me off SO much that stupid people blatatly yell idiotic remarks like this as if they are knowledgable about it. You don't know anything but the tabloid magazine you read-- Elizabeth Taylor was the one who named Michael Jackson the King of Pop, Rock & Soul. After that night, fans started calling him the King of Pop.

  • @crazy4corbinbleux

Yeah, You're "Crazy" for sure! I guess you better get started "punching holes in the walls" because I'm the last person to base my facts on the tabloids! I DON"T EVEN READ THEM!

Get back on your meds honey:)

  • @Phoenix7878 Oh, cut the jokes you moron. You're the last person to base your facts off of the tabloids? Oh REALLY? Well that just made you look MORE like a hypocrite. If you actually did your research, instead of just listening to the tabloids, you'd know that Michael Jackson NEVER proclaimed himself to be anything. Elizabeth Taylor was the one who called him this during the Grammys when he won his multiple awards and from then it caught on. So before running your ignorant mouth, get a clue.

  • I wonder if he sings to God while hes in Heaven? I sometime wish we had more intertainers like him today. Pure and Honest and REAL!

  • Wow rockbandfreak1995 what a cool thing u said I wud watch that for 42 years too wow

  • Poor Elvis is doped up in both of these interviews.
