MJ and Elvis were both talented people that will live on forever there is no reason to hate on them. Elvis was the king of rock and roll and MJ was the king of pop, the only reason people try to compare the two is because MJ was married to Elvis's daughter. they are not really comparable because they both did different types of music.
So disgusting that greedy con-artist Parker wouldn't let Elvis tour the world. Elvis would have been even bigger and would have been made so much more happy. It could have saved his life by giving him something huge to strive for.

The King was one of Micheals idols. MJ may not have been who he was without his idols. MJ did some weird crap and would probably be in jail if it wasn't for all his money. I love MJ's music as well as Elvis but drug abuse was not talked about alot back then and look at all the poor stoned fers as u call them that are dying now with all the help that is out there. Its funny seeing him wear those glasses and now its back in style. I like those glasses anyway but its just interesting. I'm an MJ fan and an Elvis fan. the person who made the comment about him and interviews, you have to understand the time he came from. Entertainers didn't give interviews. The world was a very different place. He was shy in that way. He didn't like talking to people, he liked talking to his fans and he loved being on stage. But it wasn't like it is today.

the person who made the comment about him and interviews, you have to understand the time he came from. Entertainers didn't give interviews. The world was a very different place. He was shy in that way. He didn't like talking to people, he liked talking to his fans and he loved being on stage. But it wasn't like it is today.

FOR THE RECORD: Many Legends have made their mark. The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Zeppelin, etc. BUT, there's only 1 ELVIS & he IS The King. He will NEVER be surpassed.
As for MJ, I don't think so. Unlike the already established Elvis who was in demand world wide non-stop, MJ began being hell bent on being bigger than Elvis. He was obsessed. He proclaimed himself "The King of Pop!" Ughh.
The bottom line remains, that it's not about record sales, numbers, etc. Elvis was truly unique.
