I'm a 13 year-old religious Roman Catholic (this is my sisters account) and I love this song. I mean, it's just a music piece which has a story to tell us, right? When people argue all the time even about what the TRUE story behind this piece is but I see no point in arguing because with this awesome piece playing, you feel like there's no point and as you listen to this great song by Coldplay, God puts a smile on your face.

This is not a religious song. I think this song is about evolution. Religious people don't believe in evolution. I think it's about believing that God created the beginning of the universe and put grace & style in everything in nature & living beings evolved into us humans. You can believe that God created the beginning without being religious, because there is no other answer really. To be religious means you live life purely based on religious text which includes praying.

I can't hear anything from OK Computer on ROBTTH except maybe Politik and Daylight. It doesn't have any resemblance too any Colplay album maybe other than X&Y. But yeah, In the early days Chris was a mad Radiohead fan so obviously some of it was going too brush off into Colplays own music. The biggest Radiohead rip-off's there is, are Muse !

@pikeflyfisherman Er, Muse are only barely like Radiohead. More like Nirvana crossed with Queen, with a little bit of Radiohead influence occasionally.

I can hear The Bends in Coldplay's music quite a bit, but you know, I actually prefer Coldplay to Radiohead. Radiohead lost me with Kid A, their music since then has been iffy IMO (as much as OK computer was a masterpiece). Coldplay are consistently to my tastes.

I'd have to say from a purely consistent "quality of music upon an album" standpoint, this is certainly their best work. By far their most consistent album. Very nice. Every song is good. Rarely any "skippables"
