I have a 98 intrigue good car just bad luck with it. The first week i had it, it had a engine fire. then it had electrical issues still has 1 then it had a abs cable break then needed motor mounts and tires now waiting for the cruise module cable to come in and they are looking for wire to replace the turn signal/jheadlamp unit driver side might be a piece of shit but i love it.
my intrigue is prolly better, i got my pipe ran out with just a tip on there, did a solid weld job, flex pipe dont help up well in a MN winter :p and i got a ram air intake on it, ive taken alot of cars to school in mine, tiburon gt v6 with dual flowmasters, cold air intake, wasted the hell out of him, any kind of tuner car i can take, honda accords i can waste in high 2nd, low 3rd, grand prix supercharged, and acura's :] tight video tho, id like to race ya :]
Dang, that must be a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue. My aunt has that car as well, while I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue, and I have over 57.1K miles on it :)
i would never take my pos intrigue to top speed, im pretty confident i wouldn't live...but anyways ill keep beatin on that fast body rollin pos lol u keep on it too
congrats on buyin a car but my first car is a cobalt ss sc and my winter beater is this car lol every possible engine light is on! haha i beat the shit out of it, man is it fun in snow and actually kinda a beast through snow. the foot pedal parkin brake makes easy work of burnouts and powerslides. i love my beater! lol
becareful with those lights on i have a intrigue and its my only car and found out wires where crossed which resulting in it catching on fire then it had some issues with abs, trac control, and service vehicle soon, then a some sensors went out which made the service engine soon light come on.

yeah they're pretty damn good in the snow. Last winter I went out trying to get it stuck in 1-2 feet of snow. couldn't do it

sounds the same as all gm's sounded from 1986 on. easy on the tranny, they fall apart fast but last forever if you baby them

dude if u have an intrigue then you were just unlucky. the 4 speed tranny in the intrigue is one of the best 4 speeds GM has ever made
